ongoing call he smiled, but obviously, she couldn't see. the fact that delilah even remembered him, nonetheless liked him, meant a lot to him. then she began about the fact that he'd been googling her. of course, he wouldn't admit to that. what do you think i am, a creep? no, i uh... excuses, he needed excuses. my friend, in my band. he's a real big victoria's secret fan. like, you know. he's a guy. it's natural. good excuse, very good excuse. besides, i don't think seeing a couple pictures of you in lingerie would really matter, would it? he murmured. |

She narrowed her eyes, trying to decide if he was making up an excuse or not.
"if you say so."
Quinn was easily misled, obviously. If she wasn't then she would have probably left Kaiden a long time ago. He just made her believe that she needed him. He was very manipulative.
"It might, but then again i do model those in front of a crowd of hundreds of people on live television. So i guess you can gaze at them as much as you want."
she smiled.
"Kaiden hates that i'm a model. I've missed so many photo shoots because of him..."
she sighed, there were a lot of things that Kaiden were causing her to miss..

ongoing call the mention of kaiden made harley tense up a little bit. from what he had heard, kaiden was a 'meanie' from the eyes of a three year old. from delilah, he had learned that this kaiden yelled at quinn and left 'boo boos' on her mother, which he assumed meant that this kaiden hit quinnley, something he didn't like. uh, this kaiden guy- who is he? |

Quinn shrugged.
"He's my boyfriend, we met a few months ago at an event."
She let out a soft sigh.
"He's a nice guy.."
It was an obvious lie, but Quinn didn't want Harley to think she was just some helpless woman that was struggling on her own. She like to think that having Kaiden around, no matter how horrible it was, that it showed she stuck by things through the worst of times.

ongoing call the boyfriend part didn't come as a shock, because, after all, he had already got that part and more from the other day at the park. it was the fact that she said he was a nice guy that made him shocked. obviously, he wasn't. oh. well, i mean, delilah said something about him at the park the other day, and i was just... wor- wondering. he bit his tongue before he let the worried word come out of his mouth. he was sure she wouldn't be happy if she knew that he was worrying about her after not being there the last three years. |

wondering? why would he be so curious about this man..

she could hear a hint of worry in his voice but shrugged it off. If he was worried about her it would probably make her feel somewhat protected. But then again why would he be worried about her now after three years?

ongoing call the way that delilah had said it was no story. she wasn't lying and that might have been very bold for him to say because he'd only met the child a day or two ago, but he knew that this wasn't a lie. it would be a very imaginative lie for a child to say, if it was. uh, nothing. don't worry about it. he paused for a second, trying to get the topic off of what delilah told him. where is kaiden? just curious. |
