[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: D0D4D7; border: #526976 solid 9px; width: 410px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;] the stars, the moon they have all been blown out you left me in the dark in the shadow of your heart many days marilyn didn't seem to want to open her eyes or take her ear plugs out. she didn't want reality to come seeping into her blood stream. letting her dreams take over was the highlight of her life. her heart raced as he was getting closer and closer to kissing her, her dream man without a face holding her close, and keeping her warm. only when she woke up it was just her body tangled in her comforter and sheets. many nights the darkness was his body allowing herself to hide from the horrors of waking and not having a man that was hers. she hated being single, and it was apparent. she had zane, but that whole thing just... was a fake reality. more like an ironic dream that wasn't going anywhere, just like her dreams though. marilyn wanted a substantial someone, and she wasn't willing to settle for just anyone. she didn't want to go on blind dates, like her friends always tried to set up, and she didn't want to just sleep with any guy who called her up and put on a fake smile for her. marilyn never forgot about jonas, and she always replayed what her friend oliver had said about jonas, how he hadn't moved on... had he really not moved on from her? she couldn't ever figure it out. it had been so long since they had seen each other and it was so hard for her to move on from him, which she knew she probably never would. damnit. marilyn got up out of her bed, finally making herself determined to make it through another day. she was happy though, it was so sunny, and rather beautiful out. that was one thing that marilyn did love about life, was the nature. she always went out on her balcony and breathed in the fresh air. it was her way of pushing the depressing ideals of her dreams from her head. like she cleared her airways. "Marilyn! Come on, we have things to do, and people to go meet. eloise is having her huge formal dinner tonight. Maybe Oliver will be there..." her mother gave her a swank look and went about parading through her bedroom picking out her heels to wear out shopping. her mother stopped in her closet to look at the teal colored floor length dress that was cropped perfectly for little marilyn. "oh, mare, you are going to look stunning tonight." "thanks mom..." mare said and put on the clothing her mother had laid out of the bed for her. the stylist came right on time and they got their hair curled and done up so that when they got home from shopping it was an easy fix to get done up for the party. mostly, the day was spent on shopping for things that were not even relevant to the party, like bathing suits, bras, jeans and the like. though when they finally got home, it was all business on getting set for the party. marilyn was finished last, her mother looking at her when the dress was on and hitting the floor perfectly with a slight train in the back. the asymmetrical cut that wrapped to a one shoulder silver studded strap with real diamonds laced into it. her hair done to one side and spiraling over her shoulder like a black waterfall. "i think i am ready to go." marilyn said with a smile and a small curtsy she always did to make fun of her mother who curtsied very formally and a tad bit weirdly. they arrived at the party, marilyn's father was in ireland so it was just the ladied. the driver of their car got out and opened the door, "thanks rick." marilyn said in a whisper and winked at him with a grin. marilyn had small relations with all of the workers in the fakas hosuehold. she was just too cute and friendly and most of them she knew her whole life. walking up to the door they were right on time. her mother knocked on the door and waited for the butler to answer. "hello." marilyn said as she walked in and took off the shawl that was draped over her shoulders. giving it to a maid and walking towards the huge dining room where everyone was. she walked with her mother into the room where everyone of course turned and looked. she gave her best smile and set out to find Oliver. words a lot tagged oliver startttt this drama notes here coded by becky! of caution 2.0 |
