YOU GOT ME WRAPPED AROUND YOUR FINGER. DO YOU HAVE TO LET IT LINGER? DO YOU HAVE TO? DO YOU HAVE TO? The Words: lost count The Outfit: goes here The Notes ooooh lala corrine was never really a bad girl until she learned that she had turned eighteen at one point and that no one could actually tell her how to live anymore. she had decided she was going to move away from her parents and when she did she felt the full effects of that hitting her in the face. she got her mother and father to send her money every month, and most of that was going to the alcohol she was drinking everynight.
corring would and could say that she is an alcoholic. at the age of seventeen, she actually started partying. the first house party she went to was in her own home. her friends found out that her parents were going away for two weeks so they had a few huge parties in her house. the only difference was that corrine had real friends who cleaned up and they were never caught. though it didn't matter really when her parents came home she was still beaten. her parents loved to just slam her into walls, and slap the fuck out of her. there were a few times she had visible marks, but that was easily covered up by her amazing lying skills.
corrine arrived at the club a tab bit before the doors opened. standing outside she played around on her phone, looking in the mirror and sighing, wondering why she felt like she was so ugly. that was one of corrine's downfalls, she always hated something about herself at any given moment of the day.. or night. she was self conscious but that was because of her first boyfriend. he used to mentally and physically abuse her, plus her parents abuse. she was really in a bad situation when she was younger. her first real boyfriend was three years older than her and he was her first everything. yeah, it all went down hill from there.
when the line of people were finally allowed in, corrine walked through the double doors and past the rather attractive bouncers. she gave them both a smile and make her way to the bar. the night was young and she needed a few drinks in her before she could actually open up and dance.
finally after two shots and one really strong malibu breeze, corrine made her way to the dancefloor. it was a popular saturday night, since most college kids, and most young adults were out. plus they were all taking over the dancefloor. it was a mess of people. there were bodies everywhere and everyone seemed to be having good times. of course she got her eye on a boy and soon after spotting him his hands were all over her and she was against him.
corrine was pushed away by some stupid bitch and after her mood dropped she went to the bar. sitting there and cradling a martini close to her chest. she looked around, trying to spot a guy that maybe wasn't tied down too much. or just someone to talk to, she was always alone, and it was killing her. |

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more
arin had never been so happy to almost be denied entrance to a club. honestly, in newport, she would never have been denied anything. she didn't say it to sound conceited or anything. it was simply a matter of fact. living with who she did for so long and becoming a regular at their clubs was something that just came with the package of having been there at all. she had listened to peter once and kissed a little ass (and gave a little more than that) to gain entrance and had never been denied again. now being back in hartford, she had to reprove herself. people hardly recognized her and when she had a face as cute and young as hers, it was easy to see why people would believe that she didn't belong at a place like a nightclub. but all it took was giving that smile and a nod toward some place quiet and arin had already conquered her first victim of the night. he was even kind enough to hand over a drink afterward to clear the taste from her mouth.
and that was how easy it was anymore. she shamelessly pressed a quick kiss to his neck before slipping inside and if she got stares, she honestly didn't care. this was her town - her old town. and she was going to reclaim it. not that she'd had much of a hold on it before. no, if anyone who knew her five years ago were to see her then, fixing her lipstick and making her way toward the bar, they would have been shocked. five years ago, she was a dirty blonde who bit her nails and dressed modestly and sat quietly in the background. now? she was a brunette with tattoos in places she wasn't afraid to show off anymore with a fiery personality and the ability to get what she wanted due to an ambition that just couldn't be matched. she was unrecognizable. but she was going to take over hartford the same way she had with newport. it was hers - and she wasn't afraid of taking a top position.
of course, she was a little outside of hartford by this point. new haven. college town. which, ivy league or not, explained why it was so easy to just get inside unnoticed. bartenders never seemed to like her much, though, and her luck didn't go unchanged as she approached this one. she was given water so fast it was a little crazy and she gave the bartender a small pout only to have him smile in return. not really wanting to drink down anything that wasn't a beverage, she just sighed and put the glass to her lips. maybe she could convinced somebody else around here to buy her a drink, since what the bouncer gave her really wasn't all that strong and even if it was, it wasn't nearly enough to give her the buzz she was used to riding off of for the rest of the night. her eyes scanned the club, trying to pick out someone, anyone, to be her next victim.
they were usually easy to find. guys who checked her out or girls who looked a little lonely. it was oh so easy to just smile in just the right fashion and give a few well-placed touches and have people falling right into your palm. it probably helped that she wasn't homely by any means and had more than enough boob to go around so people were generally willing to do things for her. because she'd noticed that - people were more willing to do things for pretty people and though it was awful of her, she took advantage of it. why not? if she had the means of getting what she wanted, why not use that the most that she could? so she scanned the crowd, giving occasional smiles but not reaping any benefits. some people were cute but not cute enough to waste her efforts on. with a sigh she turned back around to continue sipping on her glass, scanning the bar to see if there was anyone nearby who could get her anything.
that was when her eyes landed on the pretty blonde bombshell at the bar and immediately she knew she had found her ticket to more alcohol. she didn't know what it was. maybe the familiar predatory gleam in the other girl's eye or the fact that she had a drink so arin knew that she wasn't going to get denied alcohol by a teasing barman who wanted a service in exchange for a service. whatever. all she knew was that she was drawn to this girl and whether she had to get down on her knees again or just promise to pay her back, she just wanted to get herself something nice to drink. so she sidled up to her, giving her a smile that was more of a flirty smirk than anything and said, "care to do me a favor, sweet pea?"

The Words: lost count The Outfit: goes here The Notes ooooh lala you could say that sitting there she was open to any attention she could get. and corrine was used to getting a lot of attention, so when the bartender seemed to be fond of her, she sat there and chatted it up with him. normally corrine never used people for anything except for their friendship, but as she sat there she winked, and patted his hand and he gave her a few drinks. she was quite relaxed when a girl walked up to her. the bartender instantly stopped talking to corrine and corrine looked at the girl.
"depends." corrine said to the girl whom she locked eyes with. there was a flutter in her heart and a kick in the stomach. she switched her legs that were crossed and stared at the girl. she smirked slightly and looked for the bartender. corrine shrugged when he looked at the girl that had approached her and she giggled slightly. "depends on what you can give me." corrine was drunk. practically so relaxed no matter what you did or said she would just smirk, giggle, and repeat.
this girl was gorgeous. corrine couldn't help but just look at her from her toes to her face. smiling, corrine took her hand and placed it on the girl's lower back, sitting in the bar stool she was perfect height. "i'm corrine." she said looking at this girl. for some reason corrine's heart was beating ferociously. why? why was it doing that? why was her hand on this girl?
corrine took her hand away when the drunken side of her took a split second break and she asked the bartender for two shots. she looked over at the girl, smiling her perfect smile. she knew she could knock guys dead, but this feeling was just like that, except for corrine was staring at a girl. she had plenty of guys who would fall to her feet and beg for her attention in this club if she put herself out there. but something had been holdin her back and had been holding her to that seat.

life was easy when you were pretty, and hell did arin know it. the minute that blonde turned to look at her, she knew she had something. it didn't take much. the smirk. the giggle. the small touch. yeah - arin wasn't a moron. she knew these little things and though it could just be the touchiness of a drunken blonde bimbo, that's the way she liked them. drunk, blonde, and easy. it made life that much simpler when trying to score a drink or a quick fix for the night and though the temptation to go out and find a pretty young man out there on the floor was definitely there, she'd had her fill (no pun intended) of pretty young men in the course of the last five years. hell, she had pretty young men on speed dial who would strip naked and wait for her at her request. no, this was different and exciting and female and though she honestly had no preference, it was nice to switch it up every now and then.
she leaned into the girl's touch, smiling that knowing smile of hers and drawing in closer. it wasn't a move she was trying to pull or anything. it was often just hard to hear people in the club, though she got the added benefit of having enough curve that it was a little impossible not to speak and touch. her smile shifted into a satisfied smirk at the girl's words - oh the things she could give her - and she listened closely for an introduction. corrine. not exactly a standard name. she'd certainly never heard it before but that was all the better. besides, it wasn't like arin was the most common name in the world either and she wasn't one to judge a pretty book by its title. it all boiled down to the fact that this girl was gorgeous and she was able to get drinks and those were the only requirements she really had when addressing someone. what the girl was named was entirely irrelevant.
she glanced over at the bartender, giving him a small wink to show that she had ways around him before turning her attention back to the beauty before her. "i could give you a lot of things," she told her, leaning in to speak lowly in her ear, "in exchange for a few drinks." she leaned further into her, brushing her body against her before adding, "name your price," and pulling away to gauge her reaction with a satisfied look settled on her features. the girl really was gorgeous and she glanced her up and down a few times over to take in what she was dealing with. she'd never had a problem doing what she had to do to get what she wanted, but it helped that this girl was just...beautiful. arin wasn't one to get nervous...ever. but this girl had her blood flowing and she could feel the pounding of her heart as she waited for an answer she hoped to be more than satisfactory.

The Words: lost count The Outfit: goes here The Notes ooooh lala maybe there was this slight attraction? what the hell... who was she kidding? she was having an internal war for this girl. it was like half of her was saying, flirt! flirt! the other half was saying no!no!. corrine sighed, ignoring the devil on the shoulder and the angel on the other. the room was spinning anyways she just didn't care.
looking at the girl she smiled, listening to her as she got closer and closer to her ear. she could feel her breath on her and it was close and inviting and she turned her head to look at her. after she said the last offer she sucked in a breath, not sure what she meant, or what level she was talking about. she thought for a second and the drunkness of her took the ability suddenly and she laughed, "baby... i'll give you anything if you'll just give me you." she didn't know what she was saying. "you're just too fucking gorgeous for words is all..." corrine said and took a sip of her malibu breeze.
turning to the bartender she smiled, "give me a round of sex on the beaches for us two." she ignored him when he started complaining that she had exes on her hands. "oh, shut the fuck up..." she said and rolled her eyes. knowing he was just gonna do it if she said to anyways she laughed. then looking back at the girl she winked at her, finishing off her drink. "did i say to you already that you are probably one of the most beautiful people i have ever seen?" she said, leaning forward, planting a kiss on her cheek. |

it was too fucking easy. it was probably just the alcohol in this other woman's veins but god it was too easy to get to people these days. just a pretty smile, a little bit of body contact and bam - that was it. they were sold. but again, she had been trained for this. the art of seduction was in her veins, the ability to take control and break a person down in a matter of seconds. and while maybe it wasn't something that david had taught her, it was something she had picked up during her time in newport and tried over and over again with the boys in her home just to fine tune the skills. and then she had taken them out, tested them, worked for five very, very long years to learn how to drive someone crazy. and then worked for the same amount of time to learn how to keep them. not that that was her plan with corrine. she was just having some fun, finding some alcohol. but it was a nice and satisfying feeling, knowing that if she wanted to break her, she could.
and she already had the girl complimenting her and she hadn't even offered up her name. god life was sweet sometimes and when it was kissing her ass, it was sweeter. not that arin was a conceited person, though she definitely had confidence in herself. it was just nice to hear someone fawning over her - it was something she'd grown accustomed to over the years and it was one of the things that she was afraid she would lose when she left her boys behind. that self-assuredness. knowing that there were people out there who were willing to put everything on the line for her. but she was starting to gain confidence back that it was going to be just that easy to take her place at the top of the food chain in hartford. just so long as she kept her head up and kept smiling, she could have the entire place in the palm of her hand.
she leaned into her again, sliding an arm around that slender waist of hers to keep her in close. she didn't need to sit when contact seemed to be a factor in getting what she wanted here. "well you've got me," she purred into her ear and though the idea of being someone's had never been even programmed into her mind (and had never been attempted to be), it was different when it was for a night and she was getting alcohol out of it. "i'm arin by the way," she added, smiling at the kiss on the cheek, the compliments. "and you give me a run for my money, beautiful." she brushed some hair away from corrine's ear, pressed her lips right below the lobe in a simple kiss and pulled away from her smiling, though not by much. she stayed close enough to her smiling like a child who'd just won top prize in a contest.

YOU GOT ME WRAPPED AROUND YOUR FINGER. DO YOU HAVE TO LET IT LINGER? DO YOU HAVE TO? DO YOU HAVE TO? The Words: lost count The Outfit: goes here The Notes ooooh lala corrine sat there staring at this girl, her drunken state making her so vulnerable to just wanting love. it didn't really matter where the love came from. and why should it? why should love from another human being be judged and why should love from another human being be pushed away? it shouldn't.
she felt the girl's hand slip around her waist. she couldn't help but feel every inch the girl's hand traveled. like it was burning into her skin, yet it felt so good. corrine looked at her, "good. that's where i want you. with me." she said rather softly. arin. it was beautiful. simple, yet just as beautiful as something long and exquisite. "nice to meet you, arin." corrine looked away for a second only to have a kiss planted on her and for her to continue speaking as she took another sip of her drink.
corrine remembered her first time at a bar on her own, with her first fake id, and her first one night stand. it was very... cliche. the way he gave her a wink, and the way he led her on. the dancing, the touching, the kissing. it was all very, book-like. nothing that she had ever experienced though. many women who were older, or just more experienced were probably completely used to the whole flirting, and ultimately gross routine. but no, corrine had to get into this whole thing. she had to learn from the beginning. she had no one teach her, and for a girl coming out on her own she did pretty good. at least she never went without a condom.
so, sitting there with this girl all over her, and corrine actually wanting more of this she looked at her. "well... i can only tell the truth." she winked slightly at the girl, one of her legs touching arin's lightly, and she looked up at her. she couldn't help but wanna get closer to this girl. corrine just went for it, her eyes looked at arin's lips, lustfully craving them. her eyes looking from arin's lips to her eyes, she took a longingful gulp and went for it.
it was like fireworks. her lips against arin's. her leg wrapping around arin's a bit. then her hand lightly resting on arin's hip. she pulled back, biting her lip slightly, looking back at her lips again. still wanting them just as badly, if not more, than before. "sorry..." she said and shrugged. the alcohol on arin's lips making her seriously melt for her. |

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more
arin could barely remember the day she decided to give girls a try. hell, she could barely remember the day she decided to give the whole sexuality thing a try, just that she had been young and it had been with peter so it wasn't like it was some stranger in a bar. no, david would have never let that happen. it was safe and guarded and secure - something that didn't make a big impression but opened her up to all the different options she now had in her life. and for a while she was contented to stick with boys, contented to experiment only within the household, prepared only for what the boys she lived with could show her. then once she was older and able to wander around more, she discovered that there was so much branching out that she couldn't do within her own home. and that was when she first experimented with girls.
it had never bothered her. some people thought that experimentation was something taboo, that it was something people were supposed to struggle with. but david had assured her that it was something natural. and doing most of her growing up with him, he had no problems swinging either way and she didn't see why she should either. it was as easy and as natural as waking up in the morning. sometimes she'd wake up next to a man. sometimes next to a woman. but inevitably, the world would keep turning and satan wasn't about to pop up from the ground and tackle her for being such a piece of crap person. truth? the day she decided that it was okay to swing both ways was not an important date. it barely even scratched the surface on what she considered an important date to be. she didn't remember the first name of the first girl she had sex with nor did she remember the date or what happened and or how it made her feel. she only knew that it must have been good because she did it again. and again. and again.
and now it was just like second nature to her, going into a bar and picking out the prettiest thing on the menu, be it a man or a woman. it was just something she did, something that was more instinctual than something that she really meant to do. turning to people to putty in her hands was just a hobby. it was as simple as stamp collecting and as easy as buying a pack of baseball cards. maybe it wasn't what the old innocent ariana schultz of hartford, connecticut, would have ever admitted to doing but she changed a lot while she was gone. and now with her arm around a pretty woman and the promise of alcohol and a good time on her lips, she didn't see anything wrong with the way she had chosen to live her life. at least she was having fun with it and with the way corrine was talking to her, she was having fun too. that was hardly a crime, right?
and then corrine leaned over and kissed her and it was just a reminder of why she did what she did. because each first kiss was exhilarating, the feel of a foreign pair of lips on her own. she could appreciate domesticity as much as the next gal, and she liked being comfortable with the feeling of people but she needed to switch it up a bit sometimes. and even if those people didn't always know what she liked at least it was knew and it was something she could appreciate as she felt corrine's lips on hers. it was such an innocent act and then the other girl was pulling away and apologizing and in that moment, arin didn't think she could get any cuter. "don't apologize," arin said, more of a command than it was a request to hide her modesty and she leaned back in to press her lips against corrine's again, sucking her bottom lip in between her own and biting down lightly before pulling away. "i did tell you that you had me, after all."
