hjkljlk MAYBE I'M A SHOT IN THE DARK AND YOU'RE THE MORNING LIGHT YOU COULD BE THE BEST FOR ME AND I'M THE WORST FOR YOU maybe i'm your mr right, maybe i'm the one you like breaks didn't come around often for harley. in fact, they didn't really come around ever. touring took a lot of time, as well as writing new material for a band, attending various meet and greets and signings at lame stores in malls around the countries, and of course, one couldn't forget about the music festivals here and there that would show it's beautiful, yet so ugly, face and make harley and his band's life a living hell. not that they didn't like to play music, but it all came back to the not having a break thing. with more events to attend, that meant less breaks, which meant stress out the wazoo for harley and his fellow bandmates, as well as the full time crew. the boy couldn't remember the last time that they had a real break, which meant one that didn't last two days and one that wasn't spent inside of a hotel room or cramped inside of their tour bus. even now, he wasn't necessarily on a break. even though he wasn't technically doing any work- or at least required to do any work- nor was he on a stage sweating his ass off and singing in front of a one hundred something or more crowd, he still couldn't take a breath. he couldn't let his guard down and he couldn't tell himself that he was able to relax. he was still on the job, even if the job was just coming up with lyrics for new songs. no matter how small it was, it was still incredibly stressful.
however, he was in fresh air, so the stress completely there. it was a friday afternoon, around noon, and the sky was blue with only a couple of white clouds. it was an almost perfect sight- green grass, a bright, yellow shining sun, and a nearly clear sky. the best part about his visit to the park? there were nearly no children. he could see one or two running around with sticks in the far distance, which didn't bother him, as long as they stayed in the distance. the last thing he wanted on one of his few days off was to be bothered by some dirt-covered kid with a pointy stick, especially since all kids seemed to come with overflowing confidence. most kids weren't afraid to talk to a person they didn't know or a smile at a stranger. however, harley wasn't the sort of person that often acknowledged those children that were brave enough to wave or smile or giggle at harley- brave, because harley could be intimidating, even to children. though usually he would ignore them, he always felt like a terrible person when he did, even as much as he hated kids.
that's why he was glad they were keeping their distance. as far as he could see, there weren't any other children near him, which let him continue working on various works in peace and being confident that he wouldn't be bothered by some brat. rested on a hill of green, he sat with his legs stretched in front of him, notepad on his lap, and pencil on top of that. as he thought, he pulled strands of grass from the ground and enjoyed the fresh breeze RORY AS QUINN, CLOTHES, OMG I'M SO EXCITED AND THIS IS KINDA BAD BUT OH WELL

BUT OH-NO. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - you're wrong. | [atrb=width,240] Quinn had been through quite a lot in her years, she was a teen mom and not something she had planned, but then again who really does? She had a story with hers, one that was kind of cliche. girl meets boy in rockband, girl gets pregnant by boy in rockband and he never cares to be there. Who needs him though? Delilah was the best thing to ever happen to Quinn and she was doing an amazing job at raising her without any real help from her father. Yeah Harley sent child support checks but she was sure that the only reason he was even doing that was because he had to. All Quinn even did with the checks was deposit them into a separate savings account to give to Delilah on her eighteenth birthday. Kind of a 'this is the only thing your father ever did for you' thing. Quinn knew that one day Delilah would probably want to meet her father and it definitely was a day that Quinn wasn't looking forward to. She already had to dodge the 'where's daddy' questions and Delilah was only three years old. Thinking about all the things that Delilah would go without by not having her father hurt Quinn more than everything. She wouldn't ever get to take her father to her elementary father-daughter dance or anything memorable during her childhood. Yeah she might have him there to walk her down the Aisle but that was only if Delilah would even want him in her life. If Quinn had her way Harley would never get to see her. Currently she had full custody of her and would fight her ass off if Harley ever took her to court to try and get custody. A man who knocks up a girl at a warped tour event and doesn't care enough to be apart of their lives, doesn't deserve to ever be a part of it. He made his choice when he wasn't there. He had no right to try and jump in now.
As all of these thoughts and memories of the past were drifting through Quinn's mind she watched Delilah playing in the park, picking up sticks and running around like the carefree little girl that she deserved to be. She didn't deserve having to go through any drama with Quinn and Harley. And Quinn hoped that things would stay as they were and Harley wouldn't ever come around. Delilah ran over to Quinn excitedly. "Mommy i found a lady bug!" she squealed as she held her hand up to show off the little bug to Quinn. "Oh that's so awesome baby, are you going to help it fly home? |
" Quinn smiled down at her daughter, adjusting the big pink flower headband that she was wearing before kissing her forehead. She laughed as Delilah ran off to let it go. Delilah went over to a bed of flowers and held the lady bug on her hand as it crawled across her skin. she looked up and saw a man playing guitar nearby. Delilah ran over to him and held her hand out to him. " look what i found? isn't she beautiful?" she told him excitedly. " I think i'm going to name her after me... little miss Delilah bug. not lady bug, cause.. cause.. cause i like Delilah as a name more than lady." she giggled, rambling on about the lady bug as she sat on her knees next to the man. Quinn looked over at where Delilah had ran off to and felt her heart drop, first she was upset about her going off and talking to strangers, but she was even more upset about her running off and talking to the one person in the world she had hoped she would never encounter again. Quinn stood and went over to Delilah, taking her hand gently she leaned down and spoke to her. " Sweetheart what did i tell you about talking to strangers" she said, glancing at Harley. " I'm sorry momma." Delilah said, looking up at Quinn. " It's okay baby, go run along and play okay? i'm gonna talk to this man for a little bit." she smiled, kissing her daughters forehead before Delilah ran off back to the playground with the other kids. Quinn watched her daughter and smiled, she stood up straight and took a deep breath before looking back down at Harley. " What are you doing here Harley?" her voice was laced with pain and anger. How dare he come back here after abandoning her with a child? Yet at the same time Quinn saw and remembered everything that first attracted her to him. It was sending her emotions into a whirlwind of confusion. How could he do this to her? how could he come back here after three years. [/div][atrb=width,130] words ,

hjkljlk MAYBE I'M A SHOT IN THE DARK AND YOU'RE THE MORNING LIGHT YOU COULD BE THE BEST FOR ME AND I'M THE WORST FOR YOU maybe i'm your mr right, maybe i'm the one you like as the day grew older and the sun began to make it's way higher into the sky as it transititoned into late afternoon, harley had no regrets when it came to his decision to come to the park. the park, honestly, would have been the last place that the boy would have been caught. going to a park to clear his thoughts and work on songs always seemed girly to him. he couldn't forget the fact that it seemed cheesy, too. very corny and very cliche, because in almost every movie, there was always a lame scene with a character going to a park and basking in the light to clense their mind. he always thought it was just that- lame, but now that he had actually done it, he could see why those characters always did it. it was peaceful, relaxing, very calming, especially when there wasn't what seemed like hundreds of kids running everywhere. of course, if that was the case at this park, harley wouldn't of even given this a chance. he would have hopped right back into his car, turn around, and zoom back to the hotel that he was staying at for the next month. it wasn't a secret when it came to harley's extreme dislike for children. it was why the park was usually on his list of places never to visit and also why he didn't choose to be some disney music star. if he had, he would have been associated with children, not teenagers and adults, because at least fifteen year olds were tolerable.
however, it was when harley was in the middle of practicing a chord on his acoustic guitar when he heard a small child's voice and he immediately froze. now tense, clenched jaw and everything, harley tried not to make eye contact with the little girl that was standing a foot or two away from him. he had observed that if you didn't respond, if you didn't answer them, if you didn't smile, or acknowledge their presence, they would go away- they being children. all they wanted, after all, was attention and if you failed to give it to them they'd go bounding off in search of someone who would give it to them. at least, that's what harley hoped for with this particular toddler. look what i found? isn't she beautiful? i think i'm going to name her after me... little miss delilah bug. not lady bug, cause.. cause.. cause i like delilah as a name more than lady. this particular child was also a talker and a good one at that. for most kids that looked her age, they couldn't say much, so at least this one was intelligent. still, it didn't make the child any better. sweetheart what did i tell you about talking to strangers? the child apologized and the woman, who he assumed was the little girl's mother, told her to go play and it did just that. instead of walking away, though, the woman lingered.
what are you doing here harley? all that harley could think was what the hell? who was this woman? some crazy christian chick that hated his band and their music? then again, no christian chick showed that much cleavage. if it wasn't a 'hater,' then who the hell was it? obviously not a fan, because no fan would approach someone as famous in the music world as harley. who the fu- he started, but before he could finish, it hit him. he recognized this woman and he definitely was not excited for this small reunion. as she stood staring, harley gawked at her. this woman was the mother of his child, or more appropriately, he was the one to help her make that child. it wasn't his child, because he hadn't even met the little girl- but something else hit him. if this was quinn kennedy, the girl who he had gotten pregnant those couple years back, that little girl was his. that was partly his creation and by some strange not-miracle, the little girl had approached him, out of everyone else in that park. he had just met his daughter and he didn't even know it.
gently setting the guitar on the grass next to him, harley pushed himself off the ground, rising to his complete height of six feet and an inch or two. she was still incredibly thin and a couple of inches shorter than him, just as he remembered her. still blonde, still beautiful, still almost four years younger than him, and still the girl that he had gotten pregnant on that warped date. nice to see you, too, quinn. it's been a while, he said confidently and almost a little bit cockily. he kept her eye contact for a couple very long seconds before he broke the stare and flicked his eyes to look at the little girl that had run off. delilah, his daughter. still staring past her towards the child, he spoke again. i'm here for a show. don't get your panties in a bunch, i'm not here for too long, he said, flicking his glance back to her. i'll be gone before you know it and you can go back to getting a seven hundred dollar check in the mail every month, pretending like i never existed. this wasn't helping his cause, but harley wasn't worried about feelings here. after a small pause and lots of intense eye contact, harley opened his mouth again. she's mine, isn't she?

BUT OH-NO. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - you're wrong. | [atrb=width,240] Quinn had spent the last three years taking care of her daughter on her own, with a little help from her parents of course. She had struggled through almost losing her job as a model for Victoria's Secret and had to work her ass off to keep it. She fought like hell to get her body back to her ideal modeling sizes and fought to balance work and family. Financially everything was going well. But the emotional stress on her was something that was beginning to take it's toll. She would never let it show to Delilah though. And Kaiden wasn't any help, he was becoming a real ass to her and she was beginning to think that she would be better off on her own. But Kaiden had her convinced that she would be nothing without him. And as crazy as it sounds she was scared to lose him. He was the closest thing to a father that Delilah had.
Delilah was running around on the playground when Quinn had glanced back at her, following Harley's gaze she sighed, Delilah really seemed to be the happiest girl in the world. Even without a real father in her life. Quinn turned her attention back to Harley as he spoke about the child support payments he was sending. She glared at him, how dare he. "It all goes into a trust fund for Delilah anyways, we could easily live without any help from you. But the government doesn't see things that way. |
" Quinn had such a cold heart towards Harley. She never loved him, she just had sex with him. The only thing remotely close to loving him was the love she had for Delilah. " she's mine, isn't she?" She listened as he spoke and crossed her arms. " Yes, she is. Not that it honestly matters to you. If it did you would have tried to meet her a long time ago." She glanced back to see Delilah running back over to her. " Mommy i'm hungry." Delilah said as she held onto Quinn's shirt and looked up at her. Shooting another glance at Harley, Quinn knelt down and smiled at Delilah. " There's a snack in mommy's bag, and we'll go get some lunch in a little bit okay?" Quinn couldn't help but smile at her daughter, she fixed the flower headband again and kissed her forehead. Delilah looked up at Harley and then back to Quinn. " Mommy who is this man?" she asked. The question shot pain through Quinn's heart as she glanced up at Harley. " This man is someone your mommy used to know from a long time ago." she smiled down at Delilah. She wasn't ready to tell Delilah that Harley was her dad, it would probably kill her. She hoped that Harley wasn't as much of an ass as he was already making himself seem from the past three years and hoped maybe he had a heart and respected her enough to let Quinn explain things to Delilah on her own time. Because an unfortunate realization swept across Quinn as she glanced at Harley, and that was that she would probably be seeing a lot more of him now that he had actually met his daughter. hjkljlk MAYBE I'M A SHOT IN THE DARK AND YOU'RE THE MORNING LIGHT YOU COULD BE THE BEST FOR ME AND I'M THE WORST FOR YOU maybe i'm your mr right, maybe i'm the one you like this was definitely not what harley had expected to happen when he and his band, crew, and manager took a break in hartford for their next big show. this was definitely not what he wanted to happen and it was definitely not going to make his stay in connecticut any better. in fact, if anything, it made it worse. for the next month, he'd be miserable knowing that he had run into his daughter and the girl that he would be, in a way, stuck with until her little girl was the age of eighteen and he could stop supplying them with monthly checks. hell, he didn't even remember that he had met quinn in connecticut. honestly, though, he couldn't remember much about that night, anyway. he remembered the fantastic show they had played, the alcohol and getting wasted, and finally, the fling with quinn kennedy. he could vividly remember the seventeen- maybe eighteen, he couldn't remember- girl so easily giving into harley's desire to have sex with her. of course, that night was special, because it was the night that they both forgot about protection. neither of them thought to take out a condom and apparently, the teenager wasn't on any sort of birth control. on the one night that harley forgot about protection, he got a girl pregnant and had the potential to ruin her life. from what it looked like, though, quinn's life wasn't ruined. in fact, she looked happy, so really, he had done her a favor, right?
wrong. getting someone pregnant out of wedlock was never a favor. even though harley was a pretty fucked up person, he didn't believe that it was right to have a child if you weren't ready. teen mom and sixteen and pregnant and all that business made harley groan, because it showed what todays society had come to. watching sixteen and fifteen year old's lives tear apart because of some silly mistake, some stupid idea, and the carelessness to not put on a condom was entertainment? that was no entertainment. girls on those shows looked miserable, sad, lost, not prepared, which was probably what quinn had gone through. in no way had harley done her a favor and finally coming face to face with her? that reality slapped him right in the face. harley wasn't the type of person to apologize, though, as bad as that sounded. he wasn't the kind of guy to admit his faults, because he would be admitting defeat and that was something that harley didn't like to do. it was his way of life and just because he had gotten this girl pregnant, he wasn't about to change that way. besides, he paid the seven hundred dollar bill every month- he had paid her back enough.
she said something about a fund for delilah, which was apparently their daughter, and then something about how he didn't care if it was his daughter. the statement had some truth to it, but at the same time, how could he not care? this was his daughter. his blood, his dna, his sperm, as gross as it sounded. he helped create her, so why wouldn't he care to know who his daughter was? at the same time, she was right. if he cared, then he would have met her a long time ago. however, in not trying to meet her, not making an effort, not bothering her, he thought he was helping her. he thought he was doing a favor, because he would never be the typical dad. his life was hectic. he was a rockstar, on the road constantly, and never in one place. he was wasted constantly, did drugs here and there, and swore like a sailor. he was in no way fit to be a dad, so not trying seemed like a good way to give that child a normal life. not trying seemed like a good way to let quinn raise that kid how she wanted, even if that meant without the child's real father.
soon, the girl returned though, saying something about lunch. quinn had crouched to her level to talk to her, but harley wasn't paying attention anymore. everything was a blur. his thoughts were garbled. he couldn't find any words to say, because he was shocked. hell, he was surprised he didn't pass out from the reality of it all at this point. it became silent and he looked down at them to see quinn still knelt on the grass and delilah there. the little girl, once again, spoke to him. what's you're name mister? harley couldn't find his words or his thoughts for a couple of moments, but once he did, a small grin spread across his face. halifax, he said, james bond stlye. harley halifax. and ended with a wink. the introduction that he had used on the little girl was a significant part of harley, using it in interviews and introductions, and was something that he had become famous for in his fans. why not use it on her? BUT OH-NO. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - you're wrong. | [atrb=width,240] How had Quinn's life turned out this way? All through high school she had done everything right. She was the straight A student, prom queen, even the valedictorian. Yet after everything that had happened to her in her life Quinn was slowly starting to wonder if any of her achievements in high school were really worth it. Even with her good grades and perfect attendance she still managed to turn into a teen mom. The one time she had ever done something reckless and unprotected she ended up pregnant. A teen mom. She didn't blame Harley for anything either. It wasn't his fault. Well, not all of it at least. They were both at fault for being drunk teenagers and having sex without even thinking about using any protection. The only thing that Quinn held against Harley was the fact that he wasn't there. That he hadn't seemed to care enough to even try. She had gone through hell and back struggling to take care of Delilah, and she had done a damn good job at it. And Harley had no part in it. Delilah was such a good kid, does what she's told and helps out without even being asked. And she's only three years old. Quinn couldn't help but be proud of the mom she had become and somewhere deep down she knew that Harley would probably be a good father if he really tried. If he made the effort to try and be a part of Delilah's life he would start to realize that he could be a dad, that he should have been there during all the important things in her life. Especially her birth. That was the worst experience and the best of Quinn's life. Seventeen hours of labor and no one but her mother to hold her hand. Thinking back on it, if Harley was there for only Delilah's birth, she wouldn't hold such a hard grudge against him.
Quinn was brought back form her traveling thoughts by the sound of her phone buzzing in her pocket, she pulled it out and saw Kaiden's name. "b]I have to take this sweetheart, it's Kaiden. |
" She said, kissing Delilah on the forehead before standing and stepping away from the two of them. She listened to Kaiden yell at her for not being at home when he got there. Delilah looked up at Harley and grabbed his hand. " Harhar come and play with me." she said tugging at his hand and looking up at him. She couldn't help but think about how tall he was. Delilah's puppy dog eyes looked up at him as she smiled. " please?" she asked. How could someone say no to that? Delilah tugged at his hand and eventually got him over to the playground. She sat down in the sand box and started her attempts at building a sandcastle. Quinn's stress level was hitting it's breaking point as she listened to Kaiden's angry voice over the phone. She couldn't help but dread going home. She looked over at where Delilah and Harley had disappeared to and smiled. " Okay Kai, i'll be home in just a little bit okay.. i'm sorry.. just let me pack up Delilah and we'll be on our way.. i love you too." she sighed, and put her phone back into her pocket. How in the world was she going to be able to explain the yelling to Delilah this time? Things were going downhill fast with Kaiden.. But she didn't know what to do about it. hjkljlk MAYBE I'M A SHOT IN THE DARK AND YOU'RE THE MORNING LIGHT YOU COULD BE THE BEST FOR ME AND I'M THE WORST FOR YOU maybe i'm your mr right, maybe i'm the one you like silence. all the excitement and shock and somewhat passed and now there was only a lot of quiet. things hadn't taken a direct turn to the worst, though, so that was a plus, right? at least harley hadn't been chased off by a very angry, very protective, very grudgeful quinnley kennedy. however, maybe that was the best for this situation, because now that the two of them had bumped into each other and not turned their backs to the other- they had, in a way, reentered each other's lives. in a way, harley had also entered his daughter's life, the daughter that was a mess-up, a mistake, an accident, but apparently, a gift, a miracle, and a blessing. at least that's what it looked like from harley's eyes from observing quinn interacting with her daughter. of course all mothers loved their children, or at least most, and most mothers treated their children with love and care, with respect and with a lot of gentleness. harley would have thought otherwise of quinn to do with this child, however, because this child was born out of wedlock. it was born without a plan, without any preparation, and without a father- or at least a biological one. hell, harley would have thought that she would have given the baby up with either an adoption or worse, an abortion, because who would want their reminder if their life? who would want a constant reminder of a mistake they made as a dumb and naive teenager? definitely not harley so, in a way, it's one of the reasons he had never tried to become apart of the child's life.
that and if anyone caught word that harley halifax, famous in the indie, hipster, and music world, had had a child with a girl that he had met after a concert, respect for him would definitely be lost. the image that all rockstars have sex, get wasted, and act reckless would definitely be a living example in harley. it seemed selfish, but think of all of the hate that quinn would have gotten if that had happened. he was thinking about quinn and his unborn child when he made the decision not to care, even though he seemed to not even had considered quinn's feelings in the choice.
harley was thrown out of his thoughts when he heard the loud, irritating vibration of a cell phone in his pockets. he resisted the urge to feel his own pockets to make sure that he wasn't getting a call or a text message and a few seconds later, quinn was on her feet and telling her daughter that she had to take a phone call from someone named kaiden. who the hell was kaiden? obviously a boy, so maybe a boyfriend? if that was the case, did this kaiden already adopt delilah as his own daughter? was harley completely forgotten about? did quinn hate him that much that she'd pretend like harley didn't exist, like there wasn't a part of delilah that didn't come from harley, that didn't look like him? then again, why did he care? he had only met the girl two seconds ago, but for some reason, he already felt so strong about her. he already loved the kid, even though he didn't even know her and didn't care to know her for the entriety of his life. after all, it was his blood, his daughter.
after quinn had left to tend to her phone call, it was just the two of them- harley and delilah, long lost father and daughter reunited. harley thought that it couldn't be more awkward, but that was wrong. it wasn't even awkward. not now, not that she had been tugging on his hand asking for him to accompany with her to the sandbox a couple of feet off. harley was ready to reject the offer, tell her that he had to go or some lame excuse as such, but then he looked down and saw her smile. that smile. god, how did such a screw up help create something so perfect? and harhar? how could he ignore her? please? she said and harley gave in. he let the little girl lead him by the hand to the sandbox where they set, harley on the small barrier and and delilah near the edge, kneeling in the warm sand. watching her play suddenly brought a rush of regret to harley. how could he ever not want to be apart of this little girl's, this perfect girl, life? then he didn't know why what came out next did, but harley obviously wasn't thinking because he didn't hesitate with the words. who is qu- your mommy talking to? i mean, who's kaiden? BUT OH-NO. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - you're wrong. | [atrb=width,240] Delilah had spent the last year or so starting to really notice things. She started noticing that the man her mommy was always spending time with made her cry a lot. She noticed that she didn't have anyone to call daddy. Quinn had started a baby book all about Delilah, in it it says that Del's first word was Daddy. It was all still confusing to the young three year old. She called Kaiden daddy sometimes but her mom would always correct her and tell her that Kaiden isn't her daddy. But if Kaiden wasn't then who is? It was like the book that her mom would read to her sometimes before bed, the one about the little duckling that goes around and asks all the animals if they're her mommy. Only it's Delilah asking who's her daddy. Delilah looked over at her mom and smiled, looking back up at Harley as she worked on her sandcastle. She was a fairly care-free child, always has been. But she was so different than other kids. She seemed to be a lot happier than others. Or at least that's what it seemed like to everyone around her. She enjoyed the little things in life. She didn't like when Kaiden would kill a bug. Even a spider, she would just pick them up and take them outside to save them. Give them a new home even. And when her fishy died she had an entire burial ceremony for it. Most kids just go running and playing and get scraped knees and climb things. But Delilah loved just laying in the grass and watching the clouds, picking flowers for her mommy to make her feel better after Kaiden makes her cry, and the thing that she loves the most is when her and her mommy would sit outside on the front porch swing and her mommy would sing her a lullaby before carrying her into bed. Things for Delilah were simple. But that was because unfortunately for the little three year old, she didn't know what her mother went through.. and she didn't know that the man playing with her in the sandbox was in fact her daddy.
Delilah listened as Harley spoke, "who is qu- your mommy talking to? i mean, who's kaiden?

". she looked up at him and shrugged. " That's mommy's boyfriend. i don't like him though...." Delilah sighed and placed her hands on her knees as she looked over her crooked mound of sand, trying to decide what to do next to her sandcastle. " sometimes he yells at mommy.. and sometimes he makes mommy cry..." her voice was soft and sad, the kind of voice that when you hear it from a child it just makes your heart break. " I really don't like it when he hurts mommy though. Sometimes he leaves bumps and little boo boos on her arms." she looked up at Harley. " he's a meanie." she pouted looking over at her mom. Quinn walked over to the spot that she was originally sitting at and grabbed her bag along with Delilahs, she sighed and watched as Harley sat with Delilah at the sandbox. She felt a pull at her heart as she imagined what things might have been like if he had stuck around. Maybe things would have been alright. Maybe she wouldn't go home to an abusive boyfriend every day and worry about the affects it has on Delilah. Quinn sighed and walked over to the two of them at the sandbox after she had regained her composure. She smiled at the two of them. " Having fun baby girl?" she said as she knelt down to her level. Delilah really was the most gorgeous daughter that she could have ever imagined. She was also the most precious gift in the world to ever have been brought into her life. " yeah, look! me and harhar made a sand castle!" Delilah beamed, looking from Quinn to Harley. " That's awesome Darling, but we need to go home soon, Kaiden is waiting for us to come home and have lunch." she smiled, Delilah made a frowny face to Harley. It was a tough call as to which one of them didn't want to go home more. Quinn would probably win that competition in a heartbeat because she knew that Kaiden was already angry at her, and if he knew that Quinn had talked to another man he'd be even more mad. And the fact that she talked to a man in the park that was the father of her daughter would be even worse. She would have to talk to delilah and tell her to keep today a secret from Kaiden, or Quinn would be in a lot of trouble. [/div][atrb=width,130] words ,
