| [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #EEEEEE, border: #59b1ba 5px solid; width: 400px; height: 500px;] hey there. the name's felicity marie summers! i go by lissy too if you were wondering. also i'll have you know that i am twenty-three & loving it. oh. you've heard that I'm straight? & that I'm from wilkes-barre? well the rumors are true for once. well I gotta get going, my photography is calling. see ya'! history, lissy’s life was considerably average up until her teenage years. she was born to jack and krista summers, under the name felicity marie summers in wilkes-barre, pennsylvannia. she had an brother named nickolas, who was only a year older than her. since her dad was in the military, they moved around the united states quite a bit. the family never stayed in one place for more than a few months. lissy and nick grew close, since they were constantly having to say goodbye to the friends they made. they were almost inseparable, and did everything together. nick would stick up for his little sister, since the other kids always made fun of lissy for her size. he was her bodyguard and her best friend. but all of that changed when lissy was 12 and nick ran away. he got sick of moving all the time so he packed up a bag and ran off in the middle of the night. felicity spent most of her time alone after that, drawing, painting, and doing everything she could to keep her grades up in school. a year after nick disappeared, lissy and her mother, krista, settled down in florida while jack continued to move from station to station. lissy started to break through her shell, making more and more friends while in florida. she joined the cheerleading squad in her sophomore year of high school (mostly as a joke with her friends, but she soon realized she actually enjoyed it). the summer after her freshman year, her father was in an accident. he was discharged from service, and moved to florida to live with his wife and daughter. he turned to alcohol, and jack summers was a pretty angry drunk. he was verbally abusive towards his family, and when his wife wasn't around, sexually abusive towards felicity. she stayed out of the house as much as possible, always going to friends' houses, the library to study, and even a few parties. between work, friends, and school, she was rarely home, but it was hell when she was. by some miracle, nick returned home when lissy was 15. the abuse had been going on for a year under krista's oblivious nose, but nick found out almost instantly. the siblings told their mother, and after a year of fighting legal battles, jack summers was thrown in jail and was divorced from his wife. restraining orders were set into place just in case, and the summers moved up to hartford, connecticut. lissy finished high school, mostly keeping to herself until college. she went to the university of hartford as a photography major, and right after graduation, landed a cushy photographer position at a local media magazine. don't tell anyone, but she has her eye on a certain journalist that works there, too. personality, lissy is fairly sweet and friendly. she's nice to everybody until they give her a solid reason not to be, and even then, she's still pretty nice. just don't push her to the edge, because she does have quite the hot streak. also, don't mess with her when she's already in a bad mood. it won't turn out well. but lissy is extremely optimistic and happy-go-lucky so those bad moods are rare. lissy has a bad past, so she gets scared and paranoid very easily. yelling, thunder, and other loud noises usually terrify her. she gets very very very paranoid about certain things (mostly about her boyfriend not loving her, people getting annoyed by her etc.) she's insecure, but she tries not to show it. example: if someone compliments her, she'll probably deny it inside her head but she'll still thank you just to be polite, smile, and quickly change the subject or walk away. she avoids rough subjects, and hates to offend anybody unless they've offended her first. she's very artistic; photography, drawing, painting, etc. art is her life. her therapy. it, with the help of her medication, is what kept her from going suicidal. last thing is lissy's kind of secretive. she doesn't open up about her problems and/or her past problems very easily. you have to dig deep for that stuff because she hates thinking about it let alone talking about it. she's shy and quiet when you first meet her, but she's not mean in any way, shape, or form. if someone talks to her, she will talk to them in return. she's very much a people-person, and there's only one person on this earth that she has ever truly hated. last thing you should know is lissy has an extreme case of OCD. she can't stand when things are messy or disorderly. her house is immaculate, and she works to keep it that way. appearance, lissy's style is quite unique. she loves stores such as forever 21, express, urban outfitters, and the like. her favorite articles of clothing include skirts, dresses, heels, and boots. she avoids wearing pants as much as possible, even in the winter months. her usual winter outfit consists of a dress or skirt/blouse, leggings/tights, and a pair of boots. however, she does wearing pants a good amount of the time just because of the warmth factor, and they're skinny jeans 99% of the time. mostly because they're waaay easier to tuck into boots than other types of jeans. lissy absolutely loves dressing up, and tries to look her best everyday. she wears a necklace with a vintage key charm on it everyday. it's a good luck charm of sorts. she was given a set of the necklaces by her grandmother before she passed away. lissy keeps her make-up very simple. she only wears eyeliner and mascara. she'll occasionally put on eyeshadow, but it's very rare and usually only for special occasions or halloween/costume parties. as for her hair, she keeps it relatively simple as well. sometimes she'll straighten it, other days she'll let it go naturally (which is wavy), and some days she'll enhance her waves with a curling iron. the roleplayer, my name is paige, i'm sixteeeeeen as of july 24, i live in suckaware I MEAN delaware :/// idk what else to put here uhm i'm unhealthily obsessed with all time low and lisa ruocco aaaaaand i love cookies and i have a legitimate fear of ladybugs and spiders, i love renee and hannah and i'm a moderator and uhhhhh this is one really, really long run-on sentence and i'm really sorry??? anyway!!!! lissy is my oldest baby aaand i love her so seriously be nice to her or she'll cut yOU (jk she's too nice for that) |
