there's a fire starting in my heart reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.tinypic.com/wb98wn.jpg');,true] ROLLING IN THE DEEP !
arin had grown in more ways than he could put words to in the time that he had known her. grown into her own skin, grown into her sexuality, grown into a woman. so many things had become better and more complete than he ever could've dreamed her to be. and no matter how many people would love to say that he had molded her into what he wanted her to be, that was most certainly not the case. not with arin. he just supported her, stood by her, gave her knowledge and love and everything that she had been lacking when she had first come to maine. and it was true enough that the woman she had become could be crass, and she could be a bitch, but she was so much more than people would give her credit for. because the arin that he knew, was still one of the sweetest people he had ever met. a girl who would comfort him when he was upset. hold him close and whisper sweet nothings into his ear. she was a woman who could read his moods no matter what they were and know just what to say to make things better. most people, just didn't understand her.
but david did. and just as much as he understood her and loved her, he knew that she did she same in return. he knew that she knew as well as him how deeply his love went for peter. how much he cared for the blonde and how close the two were. she knew the kind of pain that he was feeling with the lack of the boy being around. it was something that he told himself he could adjust to, but there was a part of him that knew he couldn't. what he could do though, was be distracted. at least for the time being. because he loved arin, and he had missed her, and she knew just the way to touch him. just the way to press kisses to his lips and remind him that he had missed her just as much when he was away. for his love for arin was just as much as his love for peter. it was different, and one could never take the place of the other, but his mind and heart was more than willing to focus on the girl who he was in love with. she did, after all, deserve his attention.
a soft chuckle left his lips at her words and he pulled her in for another kiss letting the hand on the small of her back pull her more closely to him for the duration of the lip lock. "oh, i do insist," he said in playful tones. fingers laced happily with hers as she took him on the tour finding delight in the place and how she decorated it. david had always had a love for arin's style, something that was not quite his own but just as beautiful. a contented little smile curled the corners of his lips when she led him into the bedroom. "ah, yes, this would be the only room that you would say i should be interested in," he spoke in a teasing tone before pulling her to him again. his fingers moved to lace into her hair as he let his pout fall over hers capturing the soft pout in a deep kiss. a light moan rattled his vocal chords as he pulled his face away from hers leaving his hand in her dark trestles. "i think that your home is very lovely," he complimented with a loving smile on his lips.
david then dipped down and in one swift motion let one of his arms fall behind her knees as he picked her up and cradled her in his arms, a boyish grin taking over those full lips of his. "i love you," he purred into her ear as he nuzzled her neck and smiled warmly at her. he carried his girl as if she were his bride to the bed and laid her down gently before letting his body move on top of hers, his arms placed bent at the elbow at either side of her head keeping his weight from crushing her. "i missed you arin," he said softly before kissing her again, his fingers lazily playing with her hair as lips and tongues danced together in an all too familiar tango. the man pulled away again, but kept his face close to hers not wanting to have much of a distance between them. "how have things been for you, love? have your friends adjusted to the woman you've become at all? do they want my head on a silver platter," he said with an easy chuckle before pecking her lips again.

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more
god she loved him. she loved him so much that it was natural, as simple and easy to say as it was to wake up in the morning. it was simply just a part of her now. she fell asleep at night, she woke up in the morning, and in the interval between when she was awake, she loved david. hell even when she was sleeping she loved david and it was just so second nature that she was always a little surprised when people had to ask her why. because in her mind, she didn't need a 'why' behind her love; not with him. with david...he was david. that was her 'why'. she didn't understand how anyone who had ever talked to him for more than ten minutes could not be in love with him, how anyone could see him and walk away without the burning desire to see him again. for her, david was a constant thought that she didn't realize was there. the only time he disappeared was when she was with someone else and then sometimes she couldn't help but lay there afterward and compare whoever she was with to him in her head. him and her boys - loving them was more than a feeling.
and it wasn't natural - it wasn't 'normal' so to speak and she could still imagine with perfect detail the look upon jagger owen wilson's face when she told him she was with a group of men as opposed to...well, just one man. and she would never forget the look on jagger's face when she described each one, age, personality, everything. he told her he wanted to know everything about how her life had been for the past five years but she didn't think that he was actually prepared for the words that he heard. the shock was still apparent on his face even now when she saw him, like just seeing her was enough to make him believe that what he was seeing wasn't real. which she couldn't blame him. it's not like she wasted any time in leaving hartford after cait's death and no one expected to see her again - not even kendall, who could get a hold of anyone if she really wanted to. her showing up again was like...well it was like seeing a ghost. and seeing her as changed as she was, it was no wonder her best friends reacted so poorly. she wasn't their little girl anymore.
and she was reminded of the fact all the time but most reminded in moments like this - moments when the smallest moan from david's lips sent a fire straight down to her very core. she could almost feel the way her pupils expanded lustfully, could see the sultry smile that was bound to be pulling at her lips. it didn't take much to get arin to want to have sex but when your name was david harrison, it took even less. his lips were intoxicating, the feeling of him better than any drug she had ever taken before in her life. he just made her happy in a way that was maybe a little abnormal. he walked into a room and it felt like the lights got fifteen times brighter, like the world stopped spinning for a second just to let her regain focus before going back to normal. around david, she was just a better person. maybe just as crass, as crude, as dirty as she usually was. but somehow better - more intelligent. more loving. more of a sap.
when he picked her up, her arms wrapped immediately around his neck to help stabilize herself in his arms and she chuckled quietly when he nuzzled her neck and replied, "i love you, too." the motions that they went through were so familiar. david lying her down on her bed, crawling on top of her, kissing her, giving her the best feeling in the entire world of the pressure of his body pressed to hers. she pressed her hips up against him as she gave in to his kisses, returning them with a loving passion only three other men in the world could pull out of her. when he pulled away she briefly pouted but it shifted into a smile the more he spoke, her friends' reactions to her story popping up into her head. "well they're certainly surprised, no doubt," she chuckled. "i thought jagger was going to pass out when i first saw him though i'm not sure if that's because of the tattoos and shit or because i jumped on him and screamed 'guess who, mother fucker' and he was confused for a while." she smiled lovingly and returned the small peck on the lips. "but they're adjusting. as for you, kendall's just crazy enough to be okay with it and jason's understanding enough to not throw a fit. but he's not violent. it's jagger you really have to warm up to but he sucks cock now so i think your pretty face might get you out of it."

there's a fire starting in my heart reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.tinypic.com/wb98wn.jpg');,true] ROLLING IN THE DEEP !
it was more than easy for david to love arin. in all truth of the matter it was easier to love her than he ever thought he could love a woman. not that he was completely gay or anything like that because he really wasn't. he loved women for what they were, but he'd yet to meet one that he'd ever felt completed by. like he had somehow found his other half in the world in a way that only a woman's touch could fill. true enough, he was a polygamist. he had his boys, three of them, even if two were in a different state now. and he loved alex with all of his heart and soul. but the love that he had for alex was not the same as the love that he felt for this girl. this girl who had been the sweetest most innocent thing when she had walked into his life. and even now when he looked at her he saw the sweetness that so many were convinced that she no longer possessed. but david knew her, better quite possibly than her friends that she had returned to. he knew her in ways that they couldn't even begin to, and that wasn't counting sexually.
the arin that he knew, still believed in fairy tale endings. she still believed in a happily every after, and princes and princesses. she still had an innocence to her that no one could compete with. for sometimes innocence had nothing to do with how much experience a person had, but instead the mindset in which they lived their lives. even if arin was crass, and crude, and overbareing at times, david knew that she still believed in love. that she loved more freely and unconditionally than any woman that he had ever met in his life. that she cared endlessly for the people who found a place in her heart. and nothing, no matter of experiences or sexual partners, or obscene words that came from her lips could take that away from her. for arin carried with her the ability to love purely. to let herself live happily and be honest to who she was. and david liked to pride himself on helping her become this person. to know that he led her towards this completion. that she was happy now, and he had a huge hand in that. he was more than aware that so many would like to say that he corrupted her, but the way that david saw it, was that arin was a good woman. the best sort of woman. the only woman for him.
he hadn't had any sort of monogamous feelings in his life, except when it came to arin. he knew, that when it came to the world of women, she was all that he would need. he also was more than a little aware that if he were to take another woman, a pet or otherwise, that arin wouldn't stand for it. because she was a jealous thing in some respects. of course she didn't feel jealousy when it came to david and his boys, or any boy for that matter. he knew, though, that she wouldn't stand for another woman in his life. and maybe that wasn't fair when it well and came down to it, but arin had been the exception to so many things in his life thus far that he was more than a little sure that she would always have her own set of rules when it came to david's life and she would always get her own way. because she was arin. and she was his girl. and he loved her as if she were his wife. it was a different love than he had for his boys. she was his equal, his partner. this didn't mean he loved her more than alex or peter or kyle. he just loved her differently.
the feeling of having her in his arms again was one that he would never tire of having. just holding her, having her close, hearing her tell him that she loved him as easy as it was for her to breathe. a soft chuckle left the man, something more contented than anything as he nipped at the soft skin of her neck. laying on top of her his eyes never left her own. "i think it was a combination of both. i thought we went over jumping on people who haven't seen you in five years is probably not the best course of action," he teased with another warm chuckle leaving his lips and he took the pause in her speaking to peck her pout quickly. "ah, well, i will do my best to make a good impression when i meet them. and as for jagger, i'm sure that i'll do just fine. i may not like violence but we both know that i'm more than capable of dealing with it," he reminded her, that pleased smile still on his lips. david pressed his hips into hers as his mouth found that sweet spot on her neck. "when do i get to meet them?" he asked in gentle tones, his voice laced with the simple need for the woman beneath him.

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more
some people mind find it strange, her relationship with david. because it had its complications that were so simple when discussed between the pair of them that it was always odd to her when people questioned them. like the matter of the other people in his life. not that she cared - she loved the boys as much as david did, didn't blame him for wanting to have them too. hell, she had them herself - and for good reason. they were beautiful inside and out, funny and charming, and while some of them (namely kyle) had a little bit of an attitude sometimes, it was all in good fun. they accepted one another, loved one another. the only way she could ever see herself having a problem with david loving anyone else was if it was another woman. the pieces just didn't fit right in her head and while she knew she was in no position to demand things from david, he still listened to her anyway, dealt with the jealousy, and was okay with taking only men into the house. evidently the pieces didn't fit right in his head, either.
she knew the main concern about them wasn't doubt of their feelings for one another, though. no anyone who saw her with david for more than five seconds could see how completely and totally in love she was with the man. and how much he loved her in return. the biggest problem they had was that she was sixteen when they met and he was thirty and a fourteen year age difference seemed to set everyone on edge. but strange as that was, it never occurred to her to even think about david's age. david was beautiful, he was kind, and he cared about her more than anyone she had ever met in her life. if she had all that, what did it matter how old he was? he had refused to lay a hand on her until she was eighteen and even then he had waited for her to go to him. there was no 'to catch a predator' moments about it - if they wanted to get on anyone for that, it should be peter, but for some reason his being only six years older didn't disturb anyone, like sleeping with a 22 year old was natural for a young, scared woman. but not sleeping with a 30 year old. she didn't understand it; society was strange.
and they also didn't seem to understand why arin slept around. they didn't get how she could claim to love david and alex and peter and kyle and stray to anyone outside of them. but the fact of the matter was that sometimes she just craved a different touch, a different taste. a woman or maybe a redhead, maybe one day seeking out someone with a tattoo that attracted her or strange piercing. at the end of the day, she still loved her boys and when she thought of prince charming, no one fit the bill better than david. but she wasn't going to control her hormones when they weren't around and act like she didn't want to have sex with other people. she was going to have her fun; david had raised her to have her fun, to pick out people. she had a lot of the tools to make someone as much hers as she and the boys were david's. but she wasn't going to keep something until she'd sampled it - so far no one had amounted to her boys, though, so it just seemed like promiscuity. the best part about david, though, was that he didn't care.
"it was jagger, though," she whined when he teased her, smiling as he caught her lips with his again. "he should have been prepared for it. somehow. he should have sensed it in the air." and honestly, he sort of did. not that he knew then and there that she was going to pounce on him but he had hoped that she'd come back and was a little prepared as to how he would react when she did. that's what she loved about him. before david, she just had one notion of what prince charming was supposed to be and that was jagger - jagger and how he treated her and how he treated her cousin. of course apparently that image had been destroyed and since thrown out after she'd left, but she still had this tight bond to the wilson boy. he was her first idealized image; that didn't just fade away.
but thoughts of jagger were pushed away as david pressed his hips into hers and a moan escaped her lips as she pressed back up against him, her fingers pressed lightly into the back of his neck as she hissed out, "tease." he drove her crazy sometimes. he could blind her with lust in less than a heartbeat and still expected her to carry on a conversation. that wasn't fair - that wasn't fair at all. but she did follow through on answering his question instead of being a pain and demanding sex first; a little welcome to hartford present, giving into a conversation he wanted over the sex she wanted. "you could probably just drop into the shop with me tomorrow. i've made it a habit to hang around." she smiled. "unless you want to meet ken and jason, first. then we should probably go while the shop's still open so you can avoid the men in my life. lord knows jase barely counts as a man."

arin was his princess, that was all that there was to it. she had become so much to him in the past five years. for the first two of them nothing more than a student. a daughter of sorts. then as she grew older, when she was old enough to make her own decision when it came to sleeping with him, she had become his lover. his wife in some ways that were so much more than the piece of paper and her taking his last name. she was the female presence in his life that balanced him out. and it seemed odd, for a girl so much younger than him to fill such a vital role in his life. but she did. and flawlessly at that. the moment that they had become more than just the platonic sort of relationship they started out with, david felt like there was some sort of clicking of things into place in his world. everything was then right. and he loved her, more than he had ever thought he could love a woman. he was happy with her. she made things that shouldn't be right, right in his world. and the age difference, it meant nothing to david. because arin was more woman than so many of the women he had met in his life.
she was more woman in the way that she carried herself. in her laugh. in her experiences in life a lot of them being taught to her by david's own hand. in the years that she was by his side, he had taught her everything that she would need to know in regards to living away from him. he taught her how to fight. he taught her how to shoot. he taught her that she had a strength in her that most women never could even dream of having. and she could cling to that. she could hold onto that. just like she could hold onto his love for her even if she felt like the whole world was against her and she had no one by her side. he would always be by her side. even if only in spirit. because that, as far as david knew and believed, was what love was. it was being there for someone when no one else was. it was accepting someone no matter the way that they were, or the changes that they made in their lives. it was the unconditional caring and compassion, that so many people with so called normal life style didn't have.
arin wasn't afraid to tell someone that she loved them. she wasn't afraid to show her emotions, to be honest, to be so many things that girls her age had no idea how to be because no one had ever bothered to teach them. she wasn't the most eloquent of creatures most of the time, but she was so much more than the women that he met on the day to day. it was because of these reasons and more that he didn't even search for another woman in his life. he let himself be happy and contented with this one girl. this one young woman. who was more wonderful and beautiful and sweet than he was sure she would ever know no matter how many times he had told her all of those things.
an easy chuckle came from the man as she whined and it was all that he could do to not nip on her bottom lip when it came a pouting. "arin, i'm sure that no matter who someone is. when you come and pounce on them, they're going to act a little shocked. it isn't every day that someone has someone as beautiful as you just jump on them after all," he spoke in teasing tones before kissing her again and holding his body more tight against her own. he was dying to be closer to her. dying to remove the clothing and have them both reminded of what it felt like to have their flesh against each other.
a smirk painted his full lips at her moan and her word, and he couldn't help himself when he dipped his head down to nip at her neck. one of his hands moved to slip under her shirt moving calloused fingertips up the soft skin of her torso to her breast. "you love me all the same because of it," he replied and kissed her again. his mind was rather quickly moving away from the conversation though, and more towards simply being close to her. being inside her. knowing what it felt like once again to be connected to her. david lifted off of the girl long enough to rid her of her shirt, then he let his lips trail down her neck, then across her collarbones, savoring each wet kiss that lingered with the taste of her skin. "i'll come with you to the shop tomorrow," he spoke with a distracted tone. "best to get the most difficult one out of the way," he tagged on before biting her shoulder.

Senseless Denial, We spun like birds on fire right down towards the residence and i I took all that I desired even crooks have to pay the rent We swam like rats on fire right, right down the reservoir We took all that we could carry but we tried to carry more
five years ago, arin had been naive. her parents had been neglectful, her main rolemodel in life was a girl who never had so much as a hair out of place, and her idea of prince charming was love and roses and butterflies and all things that sixteen year old girls were supposed to find to be beautiful. five years ago, she had nothing to worry about because her parents hadn't let her know that there was anything to worry about. she didn't think she could ever be hurt. she thought she would grow up to marry someone who loved her like jagger loved cait, and she would live this happy life in a home with a white picket fence with her lovely husband and fourteen or whatever kids like a good little mormon and things would just be...they would be okay. she didn't think anything could happen to her. to her family. to anyone she cared about, no matter how close she was to the wilson family.
then she had seen it all go to hell with cait's death. that really brought her to life, made her realize all the bad that was happening around her. the wilsons and their problems, cain's dad, her own fucked up family, and the list went on and on. her world felt like it was caving in around her and her parents hadn't prepared her for how to deal with any of it. so she'd run away. she'd run away and she'd met david and david had taught her how to handle life. he had taught her how to be strong and find beauty in the breakdown and everything that no one else that she left behind in hartford had been able to show her. he took the broken remains of an innocent and naive girl and turned her into something beautiful and strong. maybe not completely whole because there were always going to be missing pieces of something when it was broken and put back together but better than she was when she met him. and that was why she had no qualms about this. that was why she felt no shame in loving him.
because he had given her life the way that no one else in the world could now. he had taught her how to handle all the bad, yes, but he had taught her a lot of good too. how to stay in shape. how to enjoy herself. he taught her to dance, to laugh, a little bit how to cook though alex had taken over most of those duties. the other men that david brought her aside, she would have been content with just him. but he also brought her alex who taught her how to cook and play video games and enjoy even the smallest things in life. he brought her kyle who always kept her laughing and who was the best sparring partner in the world next to david. and he brought her peter, sweet, beautiful peter who could charm a person with nothing more than a look and who had taught her more about her sexuality than anyone else she'd ever known in her life.
david was and remained her world. he was her good and her bad and her up and her down and everything that even made sense. because he was the first person to ever really teach her anything. school boards tried and parents failed and friends barely paid attention to the fact that maybe she might need an explanation. but david never put her to the side. even if she couldn't be with him because he was with someone else, she never felt shunted off or like she wasn't wanted by him. she always knew that he loved her and moments like this were what proved it - moments when he could so easily remove her clothing, touch her in ways that for her were innocent but made her feel like they were more so. it was all so practiced and so familiar but she wouldn't call any of it sexual first. it was loving. it was pure. it was david and arin and if that happened to be sexual, too, then so be it.
"you are such a sap, too," she chuckled, breathy laughs as his lips traveled down her neck to her collarbone. "much as i fuckin' love ya for it, you just really are." she closed her eyes to shut off one sense and heighten another, to intensify each touch of his lips to her flesh and feel every curve of her body press into his as she wrapped her legs tight around his waist. "no more talking," she said lowly after that, figuring they'd made enough small talk for the time being. she wanted to get to the part that she'd wanted since the moment she saw him in the window of her condo, since he handed her the flowers and placed that first kiss on her lips. she was finished with small talk.
