Alec had never felt like this in his entire life, that was all that there was to it. The way that Jason made him feel, the butterflies, the calm, the everything all at once. There was no way that he had felt like this before or else he would've remembered it. He would've remembered not having anything on his mind but that one person. He would've remembered the way that his heart beat faster every time that he thought about that person. Hell, he most certainly would've remembered forgetting how to breathe for a bit whenever the thought of that person crossed his mind. But no, he had never once in his life felt how Jason made him feel. And really, he was all the happier for it.
Jason was like, his own private slice of heaven. He'd thought that from the first day that he'd known him, but for some reason he had held back telling his best friend about this boy. Maybe it was because he hadn't been certain when he'd come home that day that this was going to be on ongoing thing. He'd hoped with all of his heart that it would be, but it wasn't until the question and answer session that he'd just done at Jason's home that he knew, he had a boyfriend. Something that he'd never said before. Something that he'd never experienced before. But he couldn't for the life of him be bothered to be any kind of not alright with it. Jason was perfect, he was the best fit that Alec could ever think of for himself. Which meant one very important thing.
It was time to tell Tony.
The thing about having a friend like Tony, a friend that had been there through so much, a friend that he would always be able to count on, was that he could tell Tony anything. He knew that without a single doubt in his mind. Tony was his best friend for a reason. He was his business partner, his roommate, hell, he had pretty much been Alec's non-sexual boyfriend for the past he didn't even know how many years. And they had a simple sort of understanding. They wouldn't go telling each other about every single date. That was unless something hilarious happened or they got laid. But if either of them ever got into a relationship they would be sure to let the other know. They had to after all, being best friends.
Alec was excited and he wasn't quite sure why. He was excited to let Tony know about his new boyfriend. He was excited to see what Tony thought. Most of all, he was excited for the two of them to meet. Of course, sometimes the combination of Tony and Alec was a bit too much for people to take, so he would wait until he was sure that Jason was ready for it before tossing him into a room with himself and his best friend. Tony and Alec had this terrible way of getting on a topic of conversation and ignoring each other. Which wouldn't be a good things with a boyfriend around who wasn't prepared for it.
The man was damn near skipping as he entered the home, cupping one of his hands on the side of his mouth. "HONEY I'M HOME!" he called and then went in search for Tony. "Where are you my chocolate love muffin? I have some important shit to talk to you about!"

Anthony hadn't had much time to notice the change in Alec. With school, their shop, and trying to keep his social life from tanking under all the other things taking place, the boy's close nit relationship took a bit of a slip. He had assumed Alec had become busy as well, with whatever Alec busied himself with, whether it was the slack that Tony missed at the shop, or just his own personal life. The two's friendship never seemed to take a hit from the boy's separate lives, but, it did mean that sometimes one of them wasn't quite up to date on all that was taking place in the others life.
It was the one day he could sleep in, though. The one day he didn't have to be anywhere, or meet anyone, time to himself to just sleep. He had been out late the night before, going to a club with a girl he had met in class, and leaving with another, and ending up with a new tattoo at the end of the night. It was how most of his nights went, and it always left him questioning the next morning, and a couple of times vowing to never drink again. Of course, that never stuck, and, not even a week later he seemed to be repeating the night. Most of his tattoos meant nothing, other than he liked the look. There were a few with significance, most just rebellion against his parents. The boy didn't have much to rebel against, being brought up with just about anything and everything a boy could need or want, besides his parents actually being there.
With his room a mess, clothes, shoes, books, papers and other odd things cluttering the floor and bed, it was quite hard to spot the young man asleep among the mess. He laid in nothing but boxers, and even those had managed to slip down the night before as he stripped ever article of clothing off before passing out on the bed. He hadn't brought a girl back to his place in awhile, tired of having to deal with clinging girls waking him up early when he obviously needed his sleep. While he missed the company of the opposite sex, he much preferred his sleep and weed. He didn't hear Alec enter their place, and he barely heard him yell out announcing his presences. But, he did hear him question for his chocolate love muffin.
Rolling over, he covered himself with his blanket, moving his pillow to cover his head. He didn't answer back, hoping to be left alone and to go back to sleep. He wasn't in the mood to wake up, or deal with whatever hangover he'd be hit with. As his body awoke though, he could feel the throb of the new tattoo, his eyebrow arching in curiosity. It was like Christmas morning whenever he awoke to a new tattoo, wondering what he had gotten this time. He had a vague memory of the event, though, he was so gone from the alcohol, he couldn't remember much other than walking in to the shop. Arching his back, he pulled the pillow off of his head, lifting his hand to his neck. He could feel the tattoo behind he ear, and feel the slight swelling from the agitated area, but couldn't for the life of him remember what he had gotten. Since he was up anyways, he called back out to his best friend, annoyed that he had woken him up in the first place. "I'm doing your mom, come back later." He answered, laying back down on his bed.

Alec wasn't naive to the fact that this was Tony's one day a week to sleep in. They had lived together for a good long while now, and they were best friends after all, so of course he knew the day of the week that Tony slept in. Usually he let the man sleep, but right then, there was no letting that best of his sleep. Especially not when he had news like he did. It wasn't very often that Alec was so...giddy. Yes, that was the word to describe what it was the boy was. Not just happy, or jolly, or in a good mood, Alec was down right giddy and he needed to share that with Tony. Hell, he always had felt like he needed to share everything with Tony, and for the most part he did share everything, except for a bed.
If there was one thing that he knew about his best friend, it was that he would be hung over. Which only meant one thing. While he waited to hear if Tony was still a part of the living he went to the kitchen and made him a hang over cure, and rolled him a joint, then set the muffin and coffee he'd bought while out, all on a trey before he made his way to the room. What were best friends for, after all, if not for making hang overs better. There weren't many nights that Tony went out without Alec, and Alec without Tony. But seeing as Alec had been busy the night before it'd left his bffjill alone for the night. Half of Alec was waiting to see a girl in his bed.
The blonde made his way to his best friend's door and opened it simply before looking around. "You lying sack of shit, my ma isn't here," he spoke in softer tones as to be compassionate towards his hand over. With a smirk on his lips he went and sat on the bed setting the trey on the side table. "I come with gifts of healing, for my chocolate kiss," he purred and then shook the man slightly before reaching over and grabbing the joint off of the side table. If there was anything that he knew would wake up that best friend of his, it was weed. Alec supposed that he was very much the same. Maybe he had a problem, maybe they both did, but he couldn't be bothered to care much about that.
With a long hit off of the joint he held it in for a moment before blowing out the smoke then offering it to Tony. "Wake up sunshine, I have some shit I need to talk to you about. Super duper important shit that I need you to be part of the living for." It was true enough. And in that moment he let his mind wander back to Jason. His smile, the laugh, the way that telling him everything about him wasn't all that hard but more like a walk in the park. Alec Chase Hoades was happy, he knew that he was happy. He'd always thought that it would be a girl that would end up making him this happy, but he could care less about that aspect of it now that he had Jason. Because, Jason was perfect. He was everything that Alec never knew that he needed in his life. And he simply couldn't wait to tell Tony about him.
