HISTORY
Aurora, Rory, was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on June 23rd, 1987 to two amazing and loving parents. She was the first born into what would soon be a big family, the oldest of three. While in the womb Aurora was accompanied by another, a twin girl, that died in birth. That little girl's name was meant to be Jade, 'air go' Rory's middle name. Along after Rory came her little brother Xavier, then a little girl named Lydia. She always remembered her mom saying that she was blessed with such an amazing family.
At the age of five years old little Aurora was diagnosed with type two diabetes. Something that drastically changed what little of a lifestyle she already had, so she thought. A little girl that couldn't have an unhealthy diet of candy and sugar and carbs like every other little kid around her. When Rory whined about wanting ice cream and soda her mother simply told her that she needed to eat healthy if she didn't want to go to the doctor. And, like every other little kid, she hated the doctor.
Growing up Aurora was a very quite girl, always keeping to herself. In elementary school she was able to acquire a few friends, but around middle school they all seemed to stray away into 'cliques'. Though Aurora was never one to label herself she always believed that she was that one loner girl, a total wallflower, always drawing weird designs in the back of the classroom. She was a major art student, loved by all of her teachers, ignored by most of her peers. By the time Rory got into high school she had found her sense of style, and realized that she wasn't actually that bad looking. Not saying that she was a slut or anything, but a lot of guys liked the whole 'bad girl - rebel' look that she had going on. And while she denied most of them, being the strong girl that she is, she didn't mind having a little fun every once in a while.
The Christmas of her senior year in high school, her family was all packed into the car, little brother and her sitting by the windows in the back seat, little sister in the middle, mom and dad in front. Dad was driving, drunk to say the least, and him and mom were fighting about something that happened earlier that night. Rory, trying to calm her younger siblings down was in the middle of telling them that everything would be okay, when all of a sudden the car was shrieking and groaning and sliding to the side of the road. Dad slammed on the breaks, Lydia went through the windshield along with Dad and died on impact. Neither of them had there seat belts on. Mom got blasted by the glass and immediately set in the coma, and is still lying in the same hospital bed to this day that she was put in that very night.
Ever since that night, Aurora has been forced to take care of her younger brother. Since she was eighteen years of age, and her mom was practically dead, she was able to take him under her wing. There was no way she was letting her little brother get taken into a home. All she had to do was get a job to be able to support not only herself, but Xavier too. That's where her tattooing career came in. While planning on going to college for art, since she couldn't afford it and didn't want to take out the loans, she decided that she could put all her weird drawings to use. A tattoo shop immediately took her in with just one glance at her portfolio. Though she was thankful to have a study job to support her mother's hospital bills and her apartment and her brother and all that, she couldn't help but wish none of it had ever happened and that she would have been able to go to college.
LIKES tattoos, cats, leather, lipstick, boys, girls, drawing, reading, writing, incense, candles, smoking.
DISLIKES christmas, tv, driving, rain, drinking, flying, soda, sugar.
FEARS loosing xavier, her mother waking up, love.
SECRETS Wishes to go to college, hates her dead father.
STRENGTHS controlling emotions
WEAKNESSES giving advice
PERSONALITY Aurora isn't a very melodramatic person. She has always been able to control her emotions; never gets to angry, jealous, or sad. She never sets her eye of the prize and always strives to get whatever said prize may be. The only time she tends to not be so serious is when she finds a friend, or someone she likes a lot and becomes a very generous and joking person. Aside from that, art is what she tends to find herself getting lost in. Pretty much skillful in every form of mental art, she's very into and educated at what she wants to do with the rest of her life.
Rory likes to take care of herself, be her own person. Though she doesn't really accept being bossed around she does listen to order farely well. When told a time to be somewhere, she's always there; a very punctual and responsible girl. Especially when it comes to work. Though she's fairly young to be taking care of a sixteen year old she tries to be the best role model that she possibly can be.
When it comes to talking to anyone, mainly men, Rory tends to find herself a tad bit bossy from nervousness. She literally gets so nervous that she begins to demand for things, things that the real her wouldn't actually care about. Very foolish and unintelligent when it comes to being herself around other people, she swears that her dead at birth twin comes out with a different personality somewhere inside of her. While usually Rory is a rather quiet and confident person, BAM there's the bossy bitch coming out to scare every man she's ever met away. Sometimes she believes that she's just not worth anyone's time.

Pushing open the doors of the newest hospital in Wisconsin, Carlisle couldn't help but notice a smile spreading across his face. Everyday he was in this place it made him think of how he was successful at becoming a doctor and yet, still being a vampire. He was excited about his new job at the hospital nearest to his new home with Edward. Everything was going better than expected and he liked it that way. Of course he still dreaded what he had become, but having a companion and fulfilling his dream of becoming a doctor semi-covered for that.
Carlisle stood over the hospital bed and checked his newest patient's pulse, pressing two fingers up against her wrist. Pulling his pocket watch out of his pocket he watched time tick by, counting each beat set in the small girls wrist. Nodding as a minute passed by he stuffed his watch back in his pocket and smiled politely down at the girl. "How are you feeling?" He asked her in question picking up some papers on a clipboard next to her bedside. Flipping through them he nodded to himself before looking up to see the fragile girl smiling at him. He was going to take that as a yes. "Well Miss Summers," he began,"I think your going to be just fine." Carlisle knew all of his patients names by heart, he felt that it made is patients feel more at home, more taken care of. He hoped that that was exactly what it did.
"How about a little fresh air?" Smiling once again at the girl he watched her nod before walking over to the window, unlatching the lock, and swiftly opening it without effort. Carlisle was about to turn around before hearing people rushing up into the hospital building, yelling his name. Looking out the window he saw a young woman being brought in on a gurney. Keeping calm he waved to Miss Summers as he exited her room, to see what all the commotion was. Two nurses then ran up to him both at once, and told him everything. A young lady, early to late twenties, had tried to kill herself by jumping off a cliff. No one new the reason yet, they still had to get her into consciousness.
Following the gurney into the closest thing the hospital had to an emergency room, he managed to catch a glance at his newest patient's face. She happened to be very beautiful, and she looked like she would have been happy in her life. I guess this is where the term 'looks can be deceiving' could play a role in. The woman had long, wavy red hair and lovely smooth skin. Looking back up and away from the sudden distraction, he clasped his hands behind his back and leaned over to read her papers out of his head nurses hands. "Esme..." He said her name with a tone of interest.
After Esme had everything that could possibly be done to her finished, Carlisle realized there was no possibly way she could live in her condition. Reflecting back to how he had saved Edward, an idea came to mind. Before he knew it Carlisle had made the decision to save this woman's life. Maybe later she would tell him why she had tried, and almost succeeded, to kill herself.
Later the next day Carlisle walked casually into her room, pondering if he was about to do the right thing. Closing the door quietly behind him he headed over to her bed where he stood for a couple of minutes just staring. Staring at her beautiful features, her steady breathing that he had helped her get back on pace. Sitting on the left side of her bed he gently pushed some of her soft hair behind her shoulder and leaned down to her neck, sinking his teeth in just enough to put her through the change. Carlisle pulled back as fast as possible before hurting her to much. He watched in horror as her eyes shot open and she tried to scream, but no sound came out. Closing his eyes in pain for her, had he'd been through it himself, he wrapped her frail body in his arms, and let the transformation take place.
