BASICS
FULL NAME ARCHER REX VAN ZANDT
NICK NAME ARCHIE, ARCH, REX
date of birth the seventh of june
place of birth i was born on a military base in singapore. my dad was in the airforce, so i was all over the place as a kid, but we happened to land in singapore when i was ready to pop out of my mom's womb.
current location my family finally decided to move to connecticut for good when i turned seventeen, my senior year. they decided that it was time that we settle down, as i was getting older and i only had a few months before i was off to college. besides, a couple of our close family friends lived in connecticut already.
eye colour normal, boring, large chocolate brown eyes.
hair colour i keep my hair really, really short but when it's long enough that you can tell, it's brown. dark, dark brown. short, it looks blonde.
siblings unless my parents had one without me knowing, nope.
do you live with your parents? ha! no. i moved out of my parent's home years ago. twenty three is awfully old to be living in your parent's house after all. i figured it was time when i started college. i still visit weekly though and i have a room at their house when i do happen to sleep there.
RELATIONSHIPS/LOVE LIFE
when was the last time you had a girlfriend? i think the last time i had a girlfriend was a couple of months ago. her name was stella and let's just say that she was not the girl who i thought she was.
are you still with that girlfriend? hell to the no.
if not, why did you break up with that girlfriend? from above, you probably got the impression that she cheated on me badly, right? yeah, wrong you would be. she was crazy. she was insane. a psychopath. i'm surprised she didn't handcuff me and tie me to a chair with rope and then put a layer of duct tape on me to keep me to herself. she liked to keep me on a really short leash, which i didn't like.
what do you think attracts girls to you? i don't know, really. i mean, i'm strong- emotionally, but i guess i'm pretty strong physically, too. i can lift a lot in weights, so maybe that's what attracts girls to me? i don't know. i've always thought i'm sort of awkward looking, so it can't be my dashing good looks. i think it'd be my personality- hardee har har, how original right? no, but really. i'm a good guy. i'm trustworthy and i'm decent company. my friends tell me that i'm fun to be around, so i would think it's that. i don't get mad easily and i try not to be mean- ever. i don't judge, i don't do anything that would purposely turn someone off of me. i try my best to be a gentleman. i use manners and i put other people's opinions and feelings before mine most times. i'm friendly, too, so i guess that would bring girls to me, too. i'm loud, but not in an obnoxiously noisy way. aaaand i'm confident. that good enough?
what kind of girls are you attracted to? i like girls that are like me. i know, i know, opposites are supposed to attract, but i like girls who are like me. i don't think my type of personality is 'clasable' which is usually why people who are the same usually don't get along in relationships. i think confidence is the most sexiest trait a woman can possibily have. that and being able to stand up for herself. i don't want a girl that's going to be put down easily- not because i'm gonna be the one putting her down, because obviously that will never happen, but because i want a girl who can take care of herself. with that, independence matters a lot, too. someone that can be themselves with me is important, too. i want a girl that won't put on a mask just because i'm around. besides that, i want to be able to be myself with her, too, so preferably, someone that's not judgemental. on top of everything, i want a best friend in my girlfriend, not just a girlfriend.

SOME MORE HISTORY
earliest memory moving. i remember moving, which is a very lame memory to have, but i remember my parents and people on the base packing up all of my room. putting all of my toys into boxes along with my close and books and everything that i needed into suitcases that we'd use until we got settled. i remember not really having a home that i could call my home, just a place where we were settled into another opportunity came along. life went quick and i could tell that my parents never were sure about if giving me and my siblings this kind of life was the best choice. that's my earliest memory.
horrors as a child/teenager not having friends. i moved all of the time, so i never had a best friend as a kid. we had 'family friends' but i never had someone that i stayed up late with on the weekends and watched stupid movies with or played the storyline option on video games in one night. when we moved, i was afraid that i wouldn't be liked where we ended up next. all i wanted as a kid was to be accepted and even though most of the time i was, i was always afraid that one day, i wouldn't be. i've always been terrified of what the next day is going to bring.
what have you learned as an adult to relax. life is too short to be worrying constantly. you have to go with the flow, go where your life takes you next, whether where you're going is a good thing or a bad thing. if you don't like it, then change it, but for the better and by not worrying... if that makes sense. also, confidence is a good thing. don't worry about what everyone else is thinking or if anyone else likes you. if you like yourself, that's what matters.
what's your current position i'm living in an apartment in hartford, working at a music store. lame, i know, but at least i'm alive, right? i'm single- no girlfriend and i'm not exactly looking. i'm just soaking in the fact that i've finally got a home.
