hey guys! every now and then even i can come up with some suggestions that i want a little feedback on. (; haha. anyway, hannah and i were talking earlier about members and how we like to get to know them, and i remembered something that this guy on tumblr does for a lot of the potterheads. he made a tumblr for each house - sort of like a common room. and in each one, he has a chat so that people can hang out and communicate and usually on the weekends and stuff he likes to stream the harry potter movies and everyone gathers around and talks. and it's really a team-building thing and i've met a lot of awesome people that way. and it got me thinking that maybe we could do something like that here.
nothing major. maybe just every now and then we all go into tinychat and talk or i can find a way to stream one of our many movies so that we can watch something. and we can vote on what to watch and when to do the chats and everything. and you don't have to go to all of them; just whenever you can or whenever you want to. as it said in the rules, hannah and i like to think of our sites as a big family (or little family right now but we're hoping that, too, will change). and we want to do everything we can to bond with you guys!
so my reason for posting this here is that i want YOUR opinions. do you think it's a good idea? if we did a tinychat for members only or livestreamed movies on the weekends, would you watch with us? my family's great with technology and we're usually pretty savvy when it comes to figuring stuff like this out. honestly, it's not hard for us to do and i'd be more than happy to do it. i just want to know if you guys would be at all interested or if it's a little too much like overkill to attempt.

on my end, im too busy for it. i think it's an odd idea just because ive never came across those before. but when i came across the rp sites on tumblr, ect i was really confused on how to work it, so on my end i wouldn't use it.

speaking for myself here~
i personally love the idea. regardless of the fact that i'm home and bored out of my mind a lot, i like to consider the other patrons of an rpg i'm on as a "family" of sorts and i like to at least feel comfortable around everyone. i am a very timid person, and i personally benefit from talking to groups, because there are more people to talk to and more options for conversations and whatnot~
i believe you suggested it as well as the movies (and i am, again, all for them xD), but maybe we could have a 24/7 tinychat room that we could enter whenever we felt more talkative? i may just love voice and video chat a little too much, haha. i also know that you can play silly group games online, apples to apples being one of them. you can make custom cards and whatnot, and it'd be fun to put places on the rpg and characters and "inside jokes" on the cards and all of that jazz.
but anyway, i'm all for the idea! if there's anything i could help with at all, should y'all decide to go through with it, just let me know c:
