everybody party time some of us will never sleep again TAG: LEAF WORDS: 676 ONE LAST THING: JEALOUS ELVIS IS JEALOUS
Anyone who knew enough of Elvis knew that he wasn’t the kind of boy that liked to share. He had only child syndrome that had moved well into his adult years, and the chances of him becoming any less of that sort of boy were slim to none when it well and came down to it. It was not just possessions that he got selfish over, but also people. He hated feeling like he was second best to anyone or anything. He didn’t hide this fact about him either, didn’t keep it behind some sort of cloak to keep the rest of the world from knowing. No, he was pretty well straight forward about his need for being the center of attention, and the center of someone’s world. When he wasn’t, well, he started to become all sorts of bitchy.
Elvis was, quite like a cat in many ways. He wanted attention when he wanted attention and if he didn’t get attention, well, the chances that he might bite your hand were not impossible. It wasn’t like he hadn’t done it before and wouldn’t do it again. Because biting someone whether on the hand or on the neck was always a good way to get their attention well and quickly. Elvis in those moments though, found himself all kinds of contented just sitting, or well, laying on a bench with a script in his hands, hazel eyes running over the pages. Oh yes, he was going to get the lead in the play, even if he had to seriously injure someone else to get it.
Though, there was a prickle of wind on the back of his neck and it wasn’t the chilly air, no, it was something all different. Something telling him to look away from those pages and to his right, where he saw a scene that he wasn’t all that keen on. Leaf, a boy who was, not his boyfriend, probably wouldn’t be such a thing anytime soon if ever, a boy, that Elvis had found himself between the sheets with on more than one occasion. And a boy, who was, well, kissing another boy, and Elvis was more than sure that he didn’t like the sight of all that.
Now, one might assume by this strange bout of jealousy that Elvis had feelings for the smaller boy, and, where as he did care for him, he did consider him a friend, he did care if anything happened to him or any of that bullshit, he was not in any shade of love with the other. Sex, or no sex. It was as simple as Elvis didn’t like seeing the people that he fooled around fooling around with other people. Call him a narcissist if you will, but, he would like to live life thinking that there was none better than he himself. Like he were some kind of god given gift to humanity, and without him, the world would crumble to the ground. Or at least those who he called his friends or lovers should.
It was a swift raise of a lanky frame off of the bench and a few steps to see the distance between himself an Leaf closed, the other boy well and on his way towards somewhere else. Elvis didn’t care. The only thing that he did care about, was that now he had an overwhelming need to prove something. He couldn’t quite be sure what.
A coy smile curled the corners of his lips and eyes locked on the face of the other boy. One of his arms wrapped around Leaf’s middle once he was close enough pulling his body flush against his own, and the other hand moved to cup his cheek. “I can’t help but wonder,” he spoke in husky tones bringing his face close to the other boy’s. “Why it is, you’re trying to hurt me Leaf.” And then there was a heated crash of lips against lips and he pulled away to look into the boy’s eyes. “Mind elaborating on that for me?”

He hadn't even been planning on staying there - he was just passing through because it was en route to the town center. Naturally, at the first sight of anyone attractive, Leaf's spidey senses and gaydar kicked in. Luckily, the trap was already set in place, and the guy was sitting on a bench. Deciding on the spot that his only chance was now and that he had to take it before he regretted things, he sat beside the male on the bench and looked casually around.
"Hey," he said casually, but with a flirtatious grin on his face that would hopefully ensnare his next victim. "Lovely, um, weather..." he continued. Unfortunately this comment wasn't particularly valid due to the thick black clouds above, the high winds and the icy temperature. "If you're a penguin." |
[/b] The guy seemed to find this amusing, and looked at Leaf, appearing to assess his features. "Sadly I am not a penguin. And I am way too cold." The two of them continued in their light, chatty way for some time. Suddenly, something seemed to click between the two of them, and their eyes locked together, and in complete unison, they leaned slowly towards each other and their lips were pressed softly together. Leaf mirrored the guy (whose name was Liam), moving in time with him and following his lead. They continued for a while. Leaf was waiting for him to pull away, and he was probably waiting for Leaf to pull away. It didn't appear that either was likely to happen, so the kiss just intensified. He felt arms around his body. At first he thought that the arms belonged to Liam, but the he realized that arms didn't really bend in that way, and his eyes snapped open. What weird-ass fucker was pulling him away from a perfectly good kiss? Liam looked pretty shocked too. Maybe he was about to be raped. That'd be fun, he'd never been raped before. He was forced to face the person that had pulled him away, and saw that it was Elvis. Yes, Elvis was weird, Leaf had always known that, but what on earth was he doing? "I can’t help but wonder why it is you’re trying to hurt me, Leaf.”Leaf was confused by the words. His mind was still recovering from the scene that had just played out - he wasn't exactly processing things very well. He just shook his head, blinking at Elvis. And then the kiss resumed, but this time it was a different pair of lips that were connecting with his own. He kept his eyes open, staring back at Elvis. Really? Was he really doing this? He was going to make Leaf lose Liam, who was the only good kiss he'd had in a while! As if his thought had been read, he ventured a glance to his left, and saw that Liam was now edging away, clearly as shocked by the scene as Leaf had been. There was no point in protesting now, he probably thought that Elvis was his boyfriend or something. “Mind elaborating on that for me?”He would elaborate for him if he actually understood what the hell was wrong with the guy. He thought it was just illnesses he freaked out about. "Elvis. What. The. Fuck?!"[/b] He shoved him off with all the strength he could muster. "What is your problem? Could you not see I was in the middle of something?"[/b] He made to gesture towards Liam, but he had now completely vanished, so he let his arm fall limply to his side with a sigh. everybody party time some of us will never sleep again TAG: LEAF WORDS: 542ONE LAST THING: BEING MAD AT ELVIS IS LIKE BEING MAD AT A KITTEN
Elvis really couldn’t say what had compelled him to end such an embrace made by two men that weren’t involved with him but instead with each other. He and Leaf weren’t together. He wasn’t his boyfriend. True enough that they’d had sex more than once, and he considered the smaller boy to be a friend of sorts, but none of these were reasons why he would’ve wanted to so rudely yank him from another man. Maybe he was bored with life, or maybe it was as simple as he hated feeling like any sort of second best. Either way, yanked him he had, and he didn’t feel a damn bit of a regret over such a thing. Why should he either? He, after all, was never known as the sort of man who liked to share much of anything with anyone. Spoiled brat that he was.
The shove, though, that had caused quite the chuckle to come from him before he stood there with his weight shifted onto one leg and arms crossed over his chest while he looked at the other. The punctuated question did nothing but let that smile turn something a bit more coy, and then his brow rose and he kept those hazel eyes well and locked on the other boys, before taking a step towards him and letting his hand reach other to touch Leaf’s ever so gently.
“My problem is, I don’t know if I much like seeing you with someone else,” a true enough statement had never come from his lips, though, the way that he spoke it implied that he did not mean in any way that he wanted to hold much of a claim on the other boy. Hell, maybe he’d just been stricken with the need for attention when he’d seen the two so mashed together. Truth be told if he hadn’t recognized Leaf he probably would’ve made his way to find him someone to pet his hair and tell him that he was pretty.
His thumb them moved to run over the other’s fingers and eyes moved to the ground before pulling back up to his face with a light pout on his lips. A kind of look on his face that only the cruelest of hearts could stay mad at, because Elvis could be a lot of things, but one of the things that he’d had down to a tee since he was a kid was being able to look all kinds of adorable and sad, his hazel eyes big as he looked at the man from under lashes. “I really didn’t mean to mess anything up for you, but, I haven’t seen you in what feels like weeks. Seeing you I just, realized how much I miss you, how much I wanted to kiss you.”
There was another step closer to him and he ventured to rest a hand on the boy’s hip keeping that all too apologetic and pouting look on his features. “Please don’t be mad with me, I can’t help that I’m impulsive, and you’re just so damn beautiful that I’m pulled to you like we’re magnets.” Because really, there was no harm in trying to woo a boy that wasn’t all that pleased with you.

h o n e y w h y y o u c a l l i n g me so late? it's kinda hard to talk right now and honey
[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g79/Juliart/background_black.jpg');,true][cs=2] W H Y Y O U C R Y I N G ? | [atrb=width,240] The fact that Elvis laughed when Leaf shoved him just made him so much more annoyed. Leaf hardly ever got annoyed, but right then, he really was. He hadn't just wanted to make out with that guy, like he did with so many. He'd actually wanted to hang out with him, and actually become friends with him. Any hope of that had now completely gone, and it was never coming back. He might as well just accept that's what's done is done and get over it. He still couldn't help but feel angry at Elvis, just for the pure selfishness of his actions.
“My problem is, I don’t know if I much like seeing you with someone else.”
That was a stupid thing to say. Honestly. It was like Leaf belonged to him. It wasn't as though he himself didn't fool around with other guys all of the time. It was just his stupid need for attention. Attention seekers really annoyed him at the best of times. Why he put up with Elvis, he didn't know. Then puppy dog eyes met with his own. He'd already been debating letting go of his anger, purely because he wasn't an angry person and found it quite easy to let go of his emotions, but now that Elvis looked so apologetic and sincere, it was easy to allow any annoyance to drift away. His shoulder relaxed, he sighed, and he visibly became much calmer.
“I really didn’t mean to mess anything up for you, but, I haven’t seen you in what feels like weeks. Seeing you I just, realized how much I miss you, how much I wanted to kiss you.”
He rolled his eyes, but not in a rude way, as it was followed by a slight chuckled. He certainly had messed things up for Leaf, but there would be plenty more guys like Liam, wouldn't there? There were millions of Liams in the world, and Leaf had loads of friends already. Cute friends. Friends that didn't walk away when other crazy friends fucked shit up. Liam probably wouldn't have made a very good friend anyway... not as good as Elvis. If Elvis could be classed as 'good' - Leaf was slightly biased because he slept with him.
"Yeah, whatever. It's fine. He was an idiot anyway." |
[/b] Elvis still had that cute apologetic look on his features, but Leaf sat down on the bench again in an attempt to ignore it. He wasn't about to let one look melt him like that, Leaf wasn't that much of an idiot. He was used to Elvis' behavior after having known him for a few months now. “Please don’t be mad with me, I can’t help that I’m impulsive, and you’re just so damn beautiful that I’m pulled to you like we’re magnets.”Again he was doing that schmoozing thing - trying to get Leaf to give in to his charms. If it'd been anyone else, he probably would have given in to the charms, but not Elvis. Why? He didn't know. Maybe because it wasn't just a sweet comment here and there with him, but because it was full on, sickening charm that probably had no truth in it at all. He was trying to make up for what he'd just done by being all adorable. Leaf would stand his ground at least a little. Did Elvis really deserve to get what he wanted? It seemed as though he'd lived all of his life getting his own way. Leaf had a good mind to yell at him again, but instead, he sat there on the bench, his eyes flickering from either side of the park, observing the various people walking their dogs or just passing through. "Okay, Elvis,"[/b] he said in an intentionally patronizing tone. "You may be pulled to me, but I was pulled to that other guy."[/b] And now he was toying with him - trying to be mean so that he could tease him a little. He'd just ruined Leaf's good thing, so Leaf would ruin his good thing. It was what he deserved. If he didn't want that to happen, then he shouldn't have started what Leaf had now decided was something of a war. "He was hotter than you. And a better kisser."[/b] [/div][/td] [td][atrb=width,100] words ,

everybody party time some of us will never sleep again TAG: LEAF WORDS: 754ONE LAST THING: THESE TWO MAKE ME SMILE
Elvis didn’t outright mean to be a selfish man, it was never his intention, but one way or another it would seem that he ended up being some breed of selfish with his actions. Like the ones that he had just done with pulling Leaf away from the other man. Sure, he could’ve really hit it off with the guy, they could’ve had a relationship or some shit like that, but when Elvis had first seen them he couldn’t be bothered to give a fuck, let alone two, because, well, he wanted the boy for himself. At least for the time being, which may’ve very well been only for the next ten minutes or so. Maybe less given how very mean the other was being to him.
And he was being mean, very mean to the other man and Elvis wasn’t too keen on it. He wasn’t keen on the eye roll or the way that he let out a chuckle. And even though the words that had come from Elvis’ mouth may not have seemed all kinds of sincere when he’d said them, oddly enough they were just that. He wasn’t the lying sort, not the sort that would make up some shit just to get back on someone’s good side, but his theatrical way of being may have caused him to come off as false more times than not. Or maybe it was just that people couldn’t wrap their heads around the fuck that he was indeed a charming son of a bitch when it well and came down to it. With a charm that wasn’t anything typical but molded for Elvis alone.
A sigh came from him as eyes stayed on the other’s face. “Yeah, well, if you ask me, any guy that walks away like that at the first sign of any sort of conflict isn’t worth your time. You’re better than that.” And though there was a still a bit of a pout on his lips, it was less than it had been and the easy sort of shrug pulled away from the rest of the dramatics before he took a seat beside the other man letting his arm rest across the back of the bench and he reached into his jacket to pull out a cigarette from his pocked placing it between lips and lighting it. There was a long drag as he listened to the other’s words and then that brow of his went right up to his hairline and he lulled his head to look over at the other man taking the cigarette away from his lips.
“So you’re telling me, that you were more drawn to that guy, that you, yourself, just called an idiot. Than you are me?” he questioned before looking away from him and taking another drag off of the cigarette. “I really, have no idea what that say about you, my friend.” And he really didn’t. Because if he was trying to get into some sassy battle of wits with this Liverpool native Elvis was more than ready for the game. True enough he was known for being all sorts of puppy dog looks and sweet expressions, but that didn’t mean that he didn’t know how to hold himself in a sass battle.
Seemed to Elvis that it was a bit more than that, though, because those words that were not meant to be any sort of kind kept coming from those lips that he’d just kissed and Elvis couldn’t help but be amused. For one, because, if he actually thought that those words were going to phase him, it was like he didn’t even know him. And for two, Elvis knew that both of the things said weren’t even any sort of true. So he leaned back in his seat, he placed an ankle on the opposite knee, and he took another drag off of that cigarette before shrugging. “Well, if he’s so much better than me, why don’t you go chase after him? I’m not stopping you, and you already made it more than apparent that something about idiots turns you on, so, be my guest.” Said without any sort of jealousy in his tone, no emotion really, no care. The drag off of his cigarette that he took only adding to his nonchalance. “Or, ya know, you can be a friend and stop trying to hurt my feelings and just hang out with me for a bit,” because sometimes boys needed options to figure out what they wanted.
