[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #eeeeee, border: #59b1ba 5px solid; width: 400px; height: 500px;] hey there. the name's ADELHEID LIESL AUSTERLITZ! i go by HEIDI OR BUTTERCUP if you were wondering. also i'll have you know that i am NINETEEN & loving it. oh. you've heard that I'm PANSEXUAL? & that I'm from NEW YORK, NEW YORK? well the rumors are true for once. well I gotta get going, COLLEGE AND WAITRESSING is calling. see ya'! bee tee dubs, i'm a STUDENT. HISTORY, Heidi was born in an upscale country house in the outskirts of New York, New York. She and her three sisters were raised by loving parents; Conrad and Liesl Austerlitz were wealthy enough, having established their family well and gotten into the showbiz business, and both parents took an acute interest in each of their daughter's lives. The Austerlitz girls were given private tutors - hand selected by their parents - and took lessons in whatever it is their hearts fancied; they were raised to be proper ladies by their attentive, if not slightly smothering, mother, collecting the skills they would need to make excellent housewives in the future. As time wore on, however, Heidi began to distinguish herself from the other girls. She wasn't as interested as they were to be married. Instead of attending her parents notorious salons and dinner parties, she would go for a few minutes, then manage to sneak off and spend the rest of the evening in her room, perusing the classic books she'd convinced her father to purchase for her or scribbling away in her journal. As a teenager, she came to the conclusion that she was going to leave home at seventeen and become a writer. To her, the life of a struggling artist was a glamorous one, if in a different sort of way that her current life was, and it was the path she wanted to travel. When she reached seventeen, however, her life came to a crashing halt. after being in a relationship with a local boy for a while, she found out that she had become pregnant. Her parents were astounded to think that their most studious and hesitant daughter would be so reckless when it came to love; but they tried to handle the situation with as much care as possible. Heidi didn't know how to handle the situation in the very least. She and the boy broke up, and her dreams of leaving home and pursuing the path of a writer were quickly broken and tucked away to keep in a safer, quieter place to collect dust. The biggest issue at the time was whether or not to keep the baby. She thought, initially, that she would want to put it up for adoption; but carrying the baby for nine months was slowly taking an effect on her. Nearing the end of her final term, she couldn't imagine giving up this baby that was hers, a part of her, and she decided to keep it. On a late Summer evening, a beautiful baby girl was born, and Heidi named her Odilia. Odilia became the pivotal point in Heidi's life. She lost the silly dreams of encroaching upon that sacred territory of freelance writers and instead finished high school. After graduation, she worked for a while in New York to support herself and her daughter, but eventually moved to Connecticut for college and a fresh start. Heidi managed to find a balance between college, waitressing, and her daughter, and is continually working to keep that balance. PERSONALITY, Sweet and quirky, Heidi was the life of parties (when she actually attended them). At a younger age, she was living the life of a hopeless romantic, and still retains some of that wistful, wishful thinking. She is easily won over by the small romantic gestures that have more symbolic meaning than monetary; chocolates, roses, romantic poems, things that would mean something to her - all of this is enough to make her swoon. She is not, however, won over by cocky arrogance, or an obnoxious love of oneself, and therefore has really only been in one or two relationships in the entire endurance of her teenage life. As educated and well-rounded as she is, Heidi struggles with an bad case of absent-mindedness and flightiness that she hasn't seemed to grow out of. As a general rule, when she was younger, she was terribly selfish and hated having to share her things; since having Odilia, she's improved this fault considerably, but still has trouble sharing and giving up her time for something if it doesn't benefit her in some way. One of the biggest faults in her, however, is her need to keep secrets and her lack of communication. She herself can distinguish what she wants and how she wants it, but when it comes to expressing these ideas clearly and succinctly to others, she struggles if the desire is personal or close to her heart. She's afraid to open herself up, and hates having to rely on others. Her uncommunicative nature is often the factor that drives others away. Even so, Heidi is a people pleaser. Though she was a bit rebellious against her parent's wishes, she never sought to cause them true and genuine distress, and the same goes for people that she cares about today. She is independent, but will try to improve things for others if she can and if she truly wants to. Heidi will take opportunities if they're given to her and if they're within her grasp, which can sometimes lead to disaster, as it has often shown a bright light on the naturally impulsive nature that seems to plague most nineteen year olds. Even as a teen mother, she can't deny her true nature. APPEARANCE, Heidi, despite being the most studious of the four Austerlitz children, has always had a taste for expensive clothing. She had to give that up, of course, but still likes to indulge herself in the fashion trends of the day and generally dresses fairly well, for her current situation in life. While she doesn't always have the available funds for purchasing nice clothing, she can make do with what she has; she has a particular love for vintage lace, especially if she can put the lace on herself or find something at the thrift stores she likes to frequent. Large rings, vintage jewelry, and colorful necklaces are also a must have for her. THE ROLEPLAYER, Hi, I'm Mona and I like eating delicious food and watching TV. I also am terrible at participating in life, as you can tell, because I compulsive make characters. I can stop whenever I don't want to. |
