And it totally killed me just to type that sentence at the top, but hey, it was funny right? Right? *que chirping crickets* Well I guess not, which is why I’m not a comedian! Anyway, my name is Maria and yes, it is my real name because I’m too much of a fail to come up with an awesome alias. I’m twenty years old and I’m not currently in college because life had a moment of “everything you do is going to get messed up and ruined so try again later” …which is what I’ll be doing come Spring quarter. I’m a total nerd, ranging in nearly every spectrum imaginable and if you asked me to chose between Star Trek and Star Wars you would get something like this “D: WHY WOULD YOU ASK ME TO DO SUCH A HORRIBLE THING?!” because seriously? I can’t pick.
My favorite tv shows include those dumb crime shows that everyone picks on, cartoons and shows from the 90s, and The Walking Dead (and not only because NORMAN REEDUS is in it). Speaking of NORMAN REEDUS…I fucking love that man. I even have a damn character using his face, though you may not see him because he doesn’t fit in on too many RP sites…poor guy. I love pretty much all music out there and every genre, but I don’t love every song; as far as I’m concerned every genre and year of music has their good songs and their bad songs, some just more than others. I’m one of those Harry Potter nerds and I’ve been with it since it came out <3 but no, I did not cry when it ended because I have all the books and movies, so I can relive them all over and over again like an obsessed little nutter.
I got my start in RPing on Harry Potter sites when I was twelve and for a long while, up until a couple years ago in fact; Harry Potter was all I RPed. I’m a grammar and spelling Nazi, but I typo like you wouldn’t fucking believe; in fact by the time you read this sentence I’ll bet that I’ve erased and corrected over fifty times. My average posts are between four and six hundred words, but occasionally I have this blast of muse that comes from fucking nowhere and “BAM” you’re reading a thousand word posts. And then I have other days where I’m staring down a two hundred word post and demanding that it make itself longer. Normally if that happens I make you wait another day to read a post because I’ll be damned if I’d give you a shitty response.
I have four siblings, one of whom is an adorable one year old with a scream like that of a banshee so I can’t really pump out a post a day, and I normally get my posts done at night. Then I have days where I have so much muse that you’ll look in the new topics and see five posts from me within three hours. I get crazy. I also curse a lot, if you haven’t noticed, and they tend to just slip out because I don’t really think about it, but hey, if it offends then you just be all “hey, you with the face! SHUUUUT UP!” …yeah, you can even say it like that for all I care. So this is really long and I’ll end it by saying: no, you don’t get a picture of my fat face and I have an AIM and a YIM that I’m on all day so PM me if you want those <3 |
